Healthy Paws saves the day again

Healthy Paws saves the day again. Other pet insurance providers may cost a little less, but I will go with Healthy Paws every single time. They make the claim process so much easier and payouts are so much faster - so you can focus on your pet and not have to worry about following up a million times or compiling medical notes or wondering if they are going to reimburse you or not. My frenchie was recently diagnosed with IVDD - it was terrifying, but I at least knew that she was going to get the best care possible because of Healthy Paws. So, so grateful for this service.

I have been a Healthy Paws customer for 5 years. My first experience with them back in 2018 was so overwhelmingly positive during a very traumatic time that they gained a customer for life. They are easy to work with, compassionate and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws! I used them most recently for an emergency visit claim, and again that experience was positive. Healthy Paws quickly and easily adjudicated our claim.

Best Pet Insurance

Monthly Cost

$15 – $90, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $100, $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
