All good now
I have been with healthy paws for many years and have had very good experiences in the past. However, things have changed. I am having trouble getting reimbursed for insulin and syringes for my diabetic dog. I have been trying to reach them by phone for over 2 weeks and I get a recording to call back during office hours. Problem is I am calling during office hours. NOTE: Healthy paws has been in touch with me and is reexamining my claims. Regarding the phones, I didn’t realize they are on PST time. All is good now.

We do our best to be transparent throughout our website, during the enrollment process and in the plan documents available to each client in their online Healthy Paws account regarding the limited exclusions of our plan. Those exclusions are pre-existing conditions, preventative/routine care and the office visit fee (vet exam, emergency exam, recheck or consultation). Anyone visiting our website can see this information on our “Benefits, Coverage and Exclusions” page. Since the majority of your claims fell into one of the above categories, we could not provide coverage.
