Caring Service
Healthy Paws emailed me out of the blue to check up on my pet after a month when he had some health issues. I felt they were compassionate checking up on him. It was very appreciative. They also process claims very quickly. I have been a member for 2 years, and I have recommended it to others.

Excellent Service and Coverage
I am so very pleased with Healthy Paws pet insurance. My first claim was handled quickly and efficiently. I hope that I never have to use the insurance again but I know that Healthy Paws will be there to here me.

I'm SO thankful I have this insurance!
I purchased Healthy Paws insurance for my girl shortly after I adopted her and I'm so very glad I did. She was recently diagnosed with a torn cruciate ligament and surgery was recommended. I would never have been able to afford the treatment she needed without this coverage. My claim was processed quickly and everyone I spoke with was understanding and so very helpful with all of my MANY questions! I wish my own insurance company was as compassionate and quick as Healthy Paws is!

The BEST customer service I have EVER encountered
Before you read my full review, please note that it took 3+ weeks to process the claim because my vet failed to provide proper documentation. This was NOT because of Healthy Paws.
I signed Delta up for Healthy Paws pet insurance in September/October 2013. Delta is a big lab mix and would run with me daily. Around Thanksgiving/early December I noticed Delta was beginning to limp on his back left leg. After rest he seemed fine, but soon began limping again. Sometime there after he was diagnosed with a torn ACL. Delta had TPLO surgery to correct the torn ACL in February 2014. Having a sick/injured pet is stressful enough, but the financial strain makes it even more overwhelming.
With that being said, I cannot thank the staff at Healthy Paws enough. They were there to answer every question I had regarding my claim, even contacting my vet frequently to ensure the proper forms were submitted. And they were in constant communication with me, via phone and email, to keep me updated on the status of my claim. I have never dealt with such caring, helpful, understanding customer service individuals in my life. There customer service makeup should be an industry standard for ALL (human and pet) insurance companies.
In the end, Healthy Paws saved me over $2000. If you have a pet, I would recommend Healthy Paws to you until I am "blue in the face." Because of Healthy Paws I know Delta will always be afforded the best possible veterinary care. They really do care about
Monthly Cost
$15 – $90, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $100, $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
