Wonderful service!

Our dog was bitten by a rattlesnake. He had to have the anti-venom vial and spend the night at the hospital with an IV for pain & to keep him hydrated. It was a relief to know that we had Healthy Paws pet insurance to help us out. I was very pleased with the fast with my questions & the re-imbursement. Thankfully he is home with us & healthy! I have recommended this company to all of my friends with pets!!

No Nonsense Pet Health Insurance.

My 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi decided to eat, on her 1st birthday, some wall patch material that is a caustic poison. It being a holiday for her and the Nation's birthday I had to take her to the ER Veterinarian. The cost was significant for two days of treatment, but after paying my deductible, Healthy Paws paid their portion without the nonsense I get from my own health insurance. It made a scary situation less stressful. Best of all my birthday girl has recovered and is just fine.

Thank you, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

We are very pleased with the prompt customer service and very quick claim payment. The first claim we submitted took a little longer to process, because we needed to have the vets email medical records in to the insurance company. My vets were happy to do this. This need for medical records was only for very first claim. Subsequent claims were processed within a day or two of submission. It is easy and simple to submit claims. I can see the status of my claims online. And I received checks in the mail almost immediately. We had a few questions about our claims and I could reach the company both by phone and email and my questions were resolved immediately. Staff is very caring, professional and responsive!

Fred's experience

This was my Fred's 2nd use of our Healthy Paws Pet Ins. So very glad that we have it. She first had a terrible infection that was very rare. We took her to the U of MN Vet College. The 2nd time she need surgery to fix the issue that was causing the infection. Healthy Paws handled our claim in a very timely manner. They also checked on how she is recovering from her surgery. I would recommend Healthy Paws and in fact I have!

The Best By Far - Healthy Paws

We have had our two dogs insured with Healthy Paws for about 4 years. It was the best decision ever! Our Border Terrier had torn ACL surgery and Healthy Paws paid our 80%...and they called us every few days to see how he was doing....Who else does that. We feel free to give our pets the best care possible, as we know it won't break the bank. The monthly premiums are reasonable and just a regular part of our budget.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $90, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $100, $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
