Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

As two vets handled this medical issue, coordinating their submittal of my dog's records was a bit complicated, but once all was received by Healthy Paws, the claim and reimbursement were handled promptly and amount was as I expected.

Before Healthy Paws, there were very few pet insurance companies to choose from, so most of us went with the largest, which wasn't always the best. Now, there is competition and Healthy Paws is the clear winner. Everyone with whom I have had contact has been concerned and very informed. Thanks goodness we hadn't had to use the insurance much for the first several years, but our Golden has recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma and has an inoperable abdominal mass. Healthy Paws has made it possible to do what is necessary to keep Fiona alive and healthy, which we will continue to do for as long as she has a decent quality of life. The staff at Healthy Paws has always been helpful and not made me feel as though asking for what I paid for was too much. They are quick on reimbursements and make us feel like part of a caring family for our dogs. Consider them for your pet insurance coverage for the best service available.

After paying expensive vet charges a few times after adopting Dez for a year plus, I had decided on Healthy Paws for his insurance coverage after researching online on several pet insurance companies. Dez is 7 year old when I enrolled him in a plan that has a $250 annual deductible, 90% reimbursement level on treatment fees, but exclude vet exam, preventative care, and pre-existing conditions. I am paying a monthly premium of $52.98. The conditions stated are clear, and since last August's enrollment, I had claimed several times, and got reimbursement of near to $3000 in total. Healthy Paws is a great insurance plan. Our dog had so many problems with her eyes. Healthy Paws helped make the experiences easier for us. Having to worry about our pet alone was enough. We didn't have to worry about the bills as well.They even emailed to find out how she was doing.
