Great service, great coverage

We are so grateful to Healthy Paws for providing us excellent service since the very beginning, when our puppy Henry partially tore a ligament. The customer service representatives guided us in filing our first claim, and we received our reimbursement shortly after. Henry has unfortunately had other illnesses and misfortunes, but we always felt confident that we could get the best care for him because of Healthy Paws' support. I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who is looking for the most dependable pet insurance.

Grateful!

When the emergency room vet heard we had pet insurance she breathed a sigh of relief. So many pet parents have to make an awful decision when their male cats' urinary tract becomes blocked, but having the peace of mind that we were covered by Healthy Paws gave us the confidence to OK Perineal Urethostomy after he blocked for the 2nd time. A few years ago our same cat swallowed an object that couldn't be passed and he had to have surgery then too. As fur parents we all know the guilt of having something happen to our babies, and we dread thinking we'll be grilled by an insurance company before they'll pay. That was not the case here. Both claims experiences went perfectly! Processed quickly, emails responded to within hours, paid in full, *no questions asked*. We are so grateful to be able to afford such great coverage for our cats!

They are Tops in the Business

I researched Pet Insurance a few years ago and found Healthy Paws to be the best so I purchased. No, having had my 2 cats and 2 dogs insured with them, it has become very clear why they are tops. First, when I bought insurance for my newly adopted lab mix who was a rescue, he had a resolving skin issue and a nasty ear infection. When I sent in all his medical paperwork initially, I was told he would have a 6 month period of time during which, if the dog had no skin issues, all skin related concerns would be covered. Read all the other reviews, I guarantee that if your dog had a skin issue that they would deny you any future skin claim regardless of the cause. Not Healthy Paws, in fact, my dog also had a nasty ear infection requiring multiple vet visits over 3 months. Initially when I purchased the policy, I was told he would have no ear coverage due to pre-existing coverage, but one phone call and a letter from my vet stating that the infection was one episode not "multiple chronic ones," and healthy paws put him on the same 6 month waiting period for claims. He has thankfully had no claims for almost 3 years and we know he is fully covered. My 15 year old cat has had many claims in the past few years and everytime, they are acknowledged within a few hours and an EOB is in my email a few hours after the first email acknowledgment. Checks are received within a week reliably. Ensure your company pays for the full cost of your visits(not reasonable and customary as

Toby's getting better

Toby tore his ACL and had to have the TPLO surgery/procedure.He's a little over 1/2 thru the 12 week recovery and doing well. Healthy Paws did a great job getting all of his medical records together and processing his claim.

An absolute part of responsible pet ownership

How many of us are prepared for the unexpected? Yet with the best of intentions (hopefully) we enter into pet ownership. Our experience with our dogs has proven that pet insurance is an absolute necessity. We have a 13 year old Boston Terrier (which was not insured, I must add) that was diagnosed with Addison's Disease 7 years ago and her yearly health care costs in excess of $1700 on top of basic vaccinations and well checks. You'd think we would have learned, but upon getting our labrador retriever, we intended to get insurance but unfortunately our puppy ate a ski hat and had to have emergency surgery to remove the yarn wrapped around his intestines to the tune of $3500. Needless to say, I researched pet insurance options ASAP and Healthy Paws offered the best coverage. Our new puppy was covered at 10 weeks and just recently ingested a rock and was hospitalized for 4 days and Healthy Paws addressed our claim within 48 hours of submission, covering 80% of the costly hospitalization and IV medication. If you don't have pet insurance, contact Healthy Paws today! You and your pet deserve the peace of mind. Well worth it!!!!
