I am particularly grateful for the attention and care that my service dog, has received. My companion and service dog is not just a well-trained working dog, but also my closest companion. He serves as my eyes, providing essential support given my limited vision, and greatly aids me in managing my other disabilities. However, lately, my best friend and service dog has been under the weather and is currently under medical attention. Notably, his medical condition has attracted a collaborative response from veterinary specialists spanning Washington, Oregon, and even as far as the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Medical Center in California. All of them are working tirelessly to aid his recovery, and we are hopeful for positive results. In all of our interactions with these professionals, Healthy Paws Insurance has been prominently listed on service dog companion intake forms. Often, I am asked about the quality of service provided by Healthy Paws. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best!! My dog recently had a very rare diagnosis, which required extensive testing to identify. Healthy Paws was very responsive and willing to work with my veterinarian as we worked through this problem. I am happy to report that Ghillie is now receiving the medication he needs, and is doing great!

I LOVE Healthy Paws! Ghillie is the second dog we have insured through Healthy Paws, and we could not be happier. I strongly advise everyone to have the peace of mind they will have that they will always be able to afford the care their dog needs. Healthy Paws is straight forward and honorable. They have no hidden surprises or holes in your coverage. They respond immediately, and they are always fair.

I have had multiple unfortunate issues with my Standard Poodle regarding embedded fox tails. This required multiple surgeries and after surgical complications. It also eventually required a trip to a specialist for a CT Scan of the area. The dollar amount paid out by myself and the insurance company wasn't as high as some reviewers, but for me it is the ease of the process and quick processing time provided by Healthy Paws that I am very satisifed with. The claims process consists of you selecting which dog the claim is for and uploading the invoice. I am very happy that Healthy Paws is always there for me and I will recommend them to everyone.

healthy paws is just a scam do not trust them. they will take your money for years and then once you have a problem make it impossible to get a reinbursment. you only see how dishonest and deceiving this health insurance is when you file your first claim! even if your dog is super healthy and it is 100% obvious the problem was just an accident. dont fall for this scam. This review is not about the deductible, it is about filing claims and suddenly finding out how they operate. Healthy Paws should request ALL the medical records and information they need and make sure that your dog will eventually be eligible for claims BEFORE starting charging you. Two different healthy paws representatives told us over the phone that the records that they requested when we suscribed and they “accepted” our dog were actually not ENOUGH and that they only really check your eligibility AFTER you submit your first claim!!! What?? This means that if your dog is ok, you can pay them for YEARS before you actually find out that your dog might not be eligible after all! Even if they end up accepting this specific claim I think this is very DISHONEST. Apparently this is written somewhere in that very long contact they sent us (of course…) As you can read in other reviews here and in their app, you only find out how things are when you have a claim. They charge you for years but then they need to check if you are “really eligible”. WTH???
