Awesome!

Love the promptness with the claims and I love that they follow up and show concern for the pet to see if they are feeling better....100% Recommended in my opinion, I've recommended to several people that have joined.

I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking

My 1.5 year old labradoodle, Dixie, became very sick with a fever of unknown origin & spent about 5 days in the emergency hospital. I had just gotten insurance through Healthy Paws a couple months prior to that & am so glad I did. We were able to focus on taking care of Dixie & did not have to worry about the costs of all the procedures the doctors had to perform to finally find a diagnosis. She had to have lots of labwork, radiographs, ultrasounds, joint & spinal taps before we were able to come up with a diagnosis. I was quite pleased that Healthy Paws covered the costs of all of these procedures without questioning anything. I am an office manager for an equine vet practice, so I know firsthand that is not always the case with other insurance companies. I highly recommend Healthy Paws if you are looking for insurance for your pets.

Surprised by how well this insurance works

Never had pet insurance before for any of my dogs. When we decided to finally make a permanent move with the dogs to our ranch in Hawaii, I realized this was going to be a whole new world of potential risks they would be exposed to. So, seemed like a good time to give Healthy Paws a try. Sure enough, after about a year and a half our youngest dog was getting a little too comfortable with full-throttle sprints through all the wide open spaces and ends up rupturing the ligaments in one of her hind legs. So, now we've got a series of visits with the vets and reconstructive surgery on the horizon. I immediately gave Healthy Paws a call to see what I needed to do. They were very helpful and made the process completely worry-free. While preparing for surgery, I had her mainland vet fax all her medical history to Healthy Paws. The day after the surgery, I submitted all the invoices from the various vet visits and the surgeon. Within 4 days, I received confirmation the claims were processed and the reimbursement checks were in the mail. After a week, I received an email asking how our dog was doing and offering to assist with any other needs that may have arisen. I've never had such an easy and pleasant experience with any type of insurance matter. I only wish our human health insurance system could function this well.

Easy process and very kind staff

When news got to me that my barely adult cat got hit by a car and rushed to late night ER, my first thought was "thank goodness I thought of pet insurance months ago." It was something that seemed superfluous at the time, but I still felt I needed it. I'm not even sure how I found Healthy Paws over the other companies, but it seemed very reasonable and more personal, so I chose it. The next day when I was told my cat needed surgery, I called Healthy Paws to ask all the questions I could think of to make sure I would do everything correctly and make their job as easy as possible so I could stop stressing out. I was told the lines were busy and they would call me back within the hour. Sure enough, before the hour was over I got a call back. The woman who spoke with me was so kind and comforting and answered all my questions easily. I didn't feel like I was talking to an insurance agency, I was talking to a compassionate human being who understood my dilemma and anxiety. The claim process was very quick and easy and the approval process equally so. I appreciated everything they were able to do and because of Healthy Paws, I was able to keep my precious family member around. With friends and family hearing of the incident, I already made recommendations to those who asked about my insurance. Easiest recommendation I've been able to make.

HEALTHY PAWS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

We did a significant amount of research for pet insurance and Healthy Paws had the greatest number of highly-rated reviews. We decided that this would be the insurance company for our puppy. Unfortunately our puppy got very ill and ended up having to go to the vet, the emergency vet twice, and a vet specialist. You could only imagine the stress of an ill puppy that we so loved much and the astronomical bills that were generated from all of the vet visits and tests. Healthy Paws was AMAZING! They covered all of our puppies bills as per our policy. We cannot even express how pleased we are with Healthy Paws! We are very blessed to have our puppy alive and back with our family and to have such a wonderful pet insurance company! Words just do not do justice in explaining our gratitude for this honest and reputable company. Hands down Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance company. Thank you Healthy Paws!
