I insured two dogs with Healthy Paws

UPDATE: I submitted an appeal with a letter from my veterinarian. I also submitted the vet notes with relevant information highlighted. I just received an email approving my claim. Based on this, I am changing my review. Although I had to submit an appeal, the process was easy, which I appreciate. I'm going to assume the staff who denied my claim, just didn't read the vet notes carefully. NOTE TO COMPANY: I appreciate that the company reached out in response to this review. Somehow I did not see the email in my inbox. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I insured two dogs with Healthy Paws. I submitted a claim for a bicep injury on the left leg of one dog. They denied my claim because they said he was limping on the left leg during a vet visit before I enrolled him. However, he was not limping during that visit. In fact, the vet said in her notes that there was no limping, no pain, and no gait abnormalities. The claim reviewer latched on to my statement that I had noticed him "weight shifting" while sitting. The vet said in her notes that that was due to a training issue or possible issue with core strength. As I mentioned, I understand preexisting conditions. But whoever reviewed my report either didn't read the notes or thinks that "weight shifting while sitting means 'limping'". Despite the vet saying he was not limping.

Tips on how to choose a company

There are several important factors to consider when choosing a pet insurance company. First, research what coverage is offered: whether it covers both routine medical expenses and emergencies like illness or injury. Compare the cost of insurance premiums and deductibles between different companies. Be sure to read reviews from other pet owners to understand the quality of service. Find out how fast claims are paid and see if an insurance plan can be tailored to fit your needs and budget. Our company provides a wide range of coverage and processes payments quickly. This gives confidence that in case of illness or injury, our pet will receive proper medical care without significant financial burden. My friends who now live in Dubai say that such services are less common there and it is more difficult to find good plans. Perhaps this is due to the fact that in Dubai there is more focus on the real estate market, for example, on the sale of villas, such as 2 Bedroom villas for Sale, where pets can also find comfortable living conditions.
