Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My cat, Bubbles, was 10 months old when she suddenly started vomiting. Because I had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, I was able to have the peace of mind saying "yes" to the tests my veterinarian thought Bubbles needed to find out why she was vomiting without having to worry about the finances. When the ultrasound revealed a linear foreign body (a potentially life-threatening event if not caught soon enough), I was able to rush Bubbles to emergency surgery just hours after her diagnosis. Less than a week after I submitted my final paperwork for the claim, Healthy Paws had sent me a check to help cover the expenses. A few days later, I received a personal e-mail from Healthy Paws asking how my cat was doing! I was blown away by that personal touch and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for pet insurance.

Their customer service is great: when we messed up a claim submission, there was no problem, and we resubmitted and had the problem sorted out within a few hours. We received our claim checks before our dog even had her sutures removed!

I purchased a Healthy Paws Pet Insurance policy for my dog, Clover, not long after adopting her at approximately 8 months old (about 18 months ago). I recently submitted my first claim for a minor surgery that she had to have on her "happy" tail. The process was easy and efficient and the reimbursement check was in the mail to me 2 days after I submitted the claim.
