Couldn't have been handled better!

As a breeder I have always recommended health insurance to all our puppy buyers. Now I specifically tell them to choose Healthy Paws. You have been professional, timely and helpful. I appreciated the follow up email asking how my dog was healing as well.

Very happy

We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our 2 dogs for a few years. One of my dogs got into anaphylactic shock because of food allergies which we were not aware of and we had to take her to the ER. She had to stay at ER hospital for 2 days which cost us almost 2700 dollars. We did not hesitate to take her there because we knew that Healthy Paws would pay us back. Filing a claim has never been that easy with the new system they have. We downloaded the mobile app and just needed to take photos of the invoices. The next day after we sent the photos, our claim was completed. We are very happy with Healthy Paws Insurance and I already recommended them to my friends who have pets.

Making Decisions Based on Prognosis

The great thing about having pet insurance is you can base treatment decisions on condition, rather than cost. Every year that we have had insurance we have "broken even", and held onto it for "one day". Lilo has had claims over the years, small and medium, and they usually add up to approx the same amount as premiums each year. Until this year. Lilo just came home from PAWS in Moscow after having an exploratory spleen/mass removal. This was after weeks of diagnostics, some at WSU (cha-ching). Half an hour after bringing her home, my husband had submitted her claim using his phone's camera. Our reimbursements always come within a couple of days; we live in WA state so they only take a day to get here in the mail. Lilo's prognosis is excellent, and her insurance has already "paid" for itself x3 this winter. I tell all of my friends about Healthy Paws.

I am so impressed with Healthy Paws!

It was a HUGE comfort knowing we had Healthy Paws on our side as we were going through a very traumatic situation when our dog ruptured a disk in his back. We knew it was going to be expensive, and wondered if there would be any issues with such a large insurance claim. Healthy Paws acknowledged receipt of the claim right away (as always), and processed the claim within 2 days - I just received the check less than a week after filing. We are great fans of HP and their mission, and we tell every pet-owner we know about how great they are. Their service ranks among the best of any company I've ever dealt with, and it is wonderful to know there are real people there who care about pets as much as we do.

Can't get better than this

So my cat got this weird ear problem and the only way to solve was to get the blood work done and after the report the vet suggested to have a small surgery done. I have to say i was little worries that insurance might not cover this, now that a notion we all have about the insurance companies. I have to say i was surprised that they covered my insurance in less than 1 hour initially they did ask me for a letter but once they had the letter they dint take nay time to cover all the expenses related tot his surgery. I haven't worked with anybody else and I don't intend it. This is the best insurance coverage I have seen till date and they are truly amazing. This the time my cat is alive I would def work with them.
