Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We recently adopted our 3 year-old cat, Hugo. Soon after, Hugo was diagnosed with bilateral uteral tube obstruction. Without major surgery, Hugo would have surely experienced massive kidney failure within a few months, as three internal specialists informed us. We were concerned obviously for Hugo, but also because the surgery recommended by all three specialists was extremely expensive. To our almost amazement, the surgery and all preceding visits to our local vets/specialists were (nearly 90%) covered under our plan. Throughout this process, the team at Healthy Paws has been extremely responsive, considerate, and helpful in all regards. They also periodically check in to see how Hugo is doing. We have been so impressed with Healthy Paws--if only human healthcare in this country was HALF as good!

My 6 month old kitten broke her leg badly. The surgery was to be $2000. I have had major issues with animals in the past and decided to get pet insurance on these two. Thank goodness got Healthy Paws. They have made a stressful situation with my poor broken kitten easy and painless. I submitted my first claim and had a resolution within 2 days. Hopefully, I do not have to repeat the experience but it is good to know that Sadie can be given the finest medical treatment without a fight with my husband.

I have been thoroughly impressed with HealthyPaws' claim department. When I first obtained insurance here almost 3 years ago, the first claim was for a mere $200 and they did a very thorough background and were scrupulous with getting information to form a baseline about my Rocky's then existing health conditions. Having managed medical malpractice litigation myself personally, I see the value in their meticulous preparation in this. Thereafter, they have been a most responsive, thorough and quick paying team of pros, surprising and exceeding my expectations. Rocky has recovered completely and has even flown with me now and we are very happy with the doctor who performed the surgery and his insurance carrier. Thank you!

Can't believe how seamless a process this was. We adopted a pitbull puppy and immediately got her pet insurance. Six week later she broke her tibia bone. We got fully reimbursed for a VERY expensive surgery and all I had to do was take a pic of the vet bill and upload it to the Healthy Paws app. I have received a phone call and voicemail, all just to check in on how my sweet pup is doing and I'm so impressed with this service. Worth every penny and we will be Healthy Paws customers throughout this puppy's lifetime and for our future pets to come.

Healthy Paws delivers as advertised and turned out to be better than expected. The employees of Healthy Paws were always extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and appeared to be very understanding to the client / pet situation. Their on-line and app sites are easy to work with and the company quickly communicates back to customer in easy to understand language. Claims Service was super fast. Why can't my Health Care service be this good?
