Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I've had this insurance for a little more than a year and it's fantastic! Low premiums and deductibles,and claims paid almost immediately. I tell all my friends with pets to get Healthy Paws.

My cat, Bubbles, was 10 months old when she suddenly started vomiting. Because I had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, I was able to have the peace of mind saying "yes" to the tests my veterinarian thought Bubbles needed to find out why she was vomiting without having to worry about the finances. When the ultrasound revealed a linear foreign body (a potentially life-threatening event if not caught soon enough), I was able to rush Bubbles to emergency surgery just hours after her diagnosis. Less than a week after I submitted my final paperwork for the claim, Healthy Paws had sent me a check to help cover the expenses. A few days later, I received a personal e-mail from Healthy Paws asking how my cat was doing! I was blown away by that personal touch and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for pet insurance.

Healthy Paws paid our claim very quickly, and Tim, who works for Healthy Paws even followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. We received payment in about one week. Their customer service is great: when we messed up a claim submission, there was no problem, and we resubmitted and had the problem sorted out within a few hours. We received our claim checks before our dog even had her sutures removed!
