Great! Totally Worth It! Highly Recommended

I have been using Healthy Paws for close to 1 year now and I think that they are awesome. As long as you meet your deductible and submit invoices correctly, etc. you will be reimbursed in an extremely timely manner. I am covered at 90% and have had a great experience with this company. The office visit fees and preventative medications like tick, flea, heartworm are not covered, but HP has covered everything else. My dog also had to have a major surgery while we had the insurance for less than a year and HP did cover 90% of the surgery. I HIGHLY recommend this insurance. It will save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.

Supportive and Fast

My cat had to have surgery after eating a jacket string. The cost of the surgery was over $4,000. Healthy paws walked me through my first claim. It was easy to do and fast. Each staff member I talked to was genuinely concerned for our cat and showed their love for animals. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance to anyone that has animals.

Grateful

, I receive a response pretty instantaneously. I talked with many people who have pet insurance with different companies and I have never found someone who can only say positive things about the company they go through. Where as for me, I can not say anything negative! I'm thankful for Healthy Paws every day, as there is no way I could still have my Wesley if it were not for them.

disappointed

They are going out of their way to relate everything to a pre existing condition. At least they covered his thyroid medication. Had two months before they decided his new issue with his liver is because of his pre existing seizures. Vets have stated in the medical records they are not related, but healthy paws still denies coverage. Can't wait to see how they respond to this review. I am sure it will be very nicely worded and deny any fault or deception.

They thought a poisonous plant would be yummy

We had just gotten Healthy Paws insurance on all three of our dogs 2 months ago because a friend of ours had suggested it to us because they had gotten it for theirs. Our 2 puppies decided to snack on a Cardboard Palm plant that was on our porch that apparently is in the Sago Palm family(hightly deadly) the vet quickly did everything in their power to save our babies and it worked, but if course cost us quite a bit we hadn't expected to have to shell out in one fell swoop. One puppy in emergency can cost quite a bit but two??! Needless to say we filed a claim immediate and within 6 days our reimbursement check!
