Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog, Daisy, broke her leg on Easter while we were visiting family. We spent several hours in an emergency clinic, returned home Monday, saw her vet on Tuesday and she had surgery on Wednesday. The first two claims were approved by Friday. I received checks for her emergency care and first trip to her vet several days later. My claim for her surgical treatment and hospitalization were approved the day after she was released from the hospital. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They went above and beyond with their service and kindness. This was a large claim ($4000+) and we have only been with Healthy Paws for eight months but we were treated like family members. I have never posted an online review. I guess I thought my time was too valuable. But, for Healthy Paws I have made an exception because they have been exceptional. The online enrollment was easy, the deductible and monthly payment extremely reasonable (and affordable) and the service spectacular.

I love having Healthy Paws for my dog's insurance policy. We are reimbursed quickly for his illnesses, giving us one less thing to worry about. There are different options you can choose to fit your budget. We chose 90% reimbursement with the 100 dollar deductible. They've made it easy to submit a claim through an app on my phone. They process fast and get your reimbursement out quickly also.

We signed up with Healthy Paws after adopting our puppy as they were recommended to us as being the best insurance company. A month after we got our puppy Cocoa, she hurt her knee and needed surgery. It was a tough time for us, but having Healthy Paws made things that much easier. After Cocoa's procedures, I scanned in all her vet's medical records and invoices for our claim. Within a day, Healthy Paws emailed us to let us know they needed the records from the hospital but that they were happy to call the hospital and obtain them for us. Since this was our first claim, they mentioned it may take a little longer to process, but we had our reimbursement check in our hands within 2 weeks after the claim. Everything was covered that they said would be. There were no questions asked. We also received an email from Healthy Paws a few weeks afterwards to check in on Cocoa. Based on their efficiency and professionalism, I would highly recommend Healthy Paws!

They processed my claim in just a few days and I received the reimbursement with in a week. They even sent an email to check on Haley after her surgery. I am very happy I chose healthy paws the claims process was so easy and so fast. Great communication. No one ever wants to have to use the insurance but when major things come up its good you can make the best decision possible about your pets (my children's) health knowing you have healthy paws in your corner. I did a lot of research when shopping for insurance and they were looked over my pets history and told me right up front what would be covered. You won't be disappointed.
