Healthy Paws is always there for you.

Our 2 year old Great Dane, Gunnar, recently wasn't feeling very well and didn't want to eat. When he did finally eat something he ended up vomiting. Concerned, we took him to our Vet were they did blood work and decided to take X-rays. They saw what they thought might be a blockage in the small intestine but weren't sure. They gave us some antibiotics and told us to keep an eye on him and if he got worse to call them back. Not wanting to take chances, we had our Vet get us an immediate appointment with a Specialist in Tampa, where they did an ultrasound to check the possible blockage. It turned out not to be a blockage and told us to proceed with the antibiotics for a intestinal infection. Upon arriving home, we used the Healthy Paws phone app to submit a copy of the bills from both Veterinarian facilities for submittal. By the next morning, we received an email letting us know that the claims were in process and later that day we received another email that the check was being sent out. We are so pleased with not only the speed to which the claims are processed, but also by the genuine concern that Healthy Paws has for its clients. They always make it a point to check back within days to see how your loved one (pet) is doing. We recently brought into our lives a new Great Dane puppy, and we have already added him into our Healthy Paws account. You always hope that you never have to use your Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, but knowing that they are there for you when you need them is definitely reassuring.

I chose Healthy Paws and never looked back.

When Wookie was very young I knew I never wanted to compromise his health because I couldn't afford the best treatments for him. So I searched the web for Pet Health Insurance. When I found Healthy Paws, I knew it was the right one for my precious baby. I've never been sorry, and I've saved thousands on Wookie's health care. Their reimbursement is a quick turn around, and I usually get a check within a week of filing. And...They actually call to find out how he's feeling...Does your insurance co. do that? I bet not.

Healthy Paws is Truly the Best

We live in the mountains and our dogs are constantly outside running after squirrels, leaping over logs and through the brush and as a result we have had to deal with several ACL tears. Our Lab had 2 tears and our Aussie had one. TPLO surgery is expensive and so when got our Springer we looked into pet insurance. We did some research and talked to people who had insurance and the name that kept coming up was Healthy Paws. So, we signed our Springer up. That was probably one of the best decisions we’ve made. Dexter has just gone through his 2nd ACL surgery and Healthy Paws has been great through both surgeries. Each claim was processed immediately and we had our checks within a week from the surgery dates. Plus, they really seem to care about Dexter, sending us e-mails asking us how he is doing. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for anyone who has a pet. They are the epitome of what an insurance company should be.
