Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the absolute best option for being able to care for my dogs in the best possible manner. My 9 year old Irish Wolfhound, Simon, had a suspicious mass on his back and after consulting with a veterinary surgeon, it was decided to biopsy the mass in addition to doing an ultrasound and CT scan. Those tests were done to rule out any cancer and to give us a road map should the pathology report come back positive. Simon's biopsy came back negative but we decided to take the mass off because it was continuing to grow and would eventually interfere with several important body systems. Thank goodness that I was able to do all the testing necessary (thanks to Healthy Paws) and when the mass was sent to pathology the report came back as a sarcoma. Had I not had Healthy Paws insurance I may not have been able to do the required testing and ultimate surgery to insure the best possible result for Simon. Healthy Paws is wonderful about processing the claims within days of receiving the reports from the veterinary hospital. With expensive procedures the credit card gets charged up quickly and I can always count on Healthy Paws to pay the claim within days of the hospital submitting it. They also keep me updated on the status of the claim processing and the distribution of the reimbursement check. They are always pleasant to deal with and always available to answer questions. They have great coverage and their customer service is amazing. Their team is in contact with you every step of the way from the time you submit the claim till it's complete.My 11month old puppy had to undergo surgery for blockage in his intestines due to an accident and then again within a week due him herniating it. They stayed in contact with me during the whole process and the turnaround for my coverage was great. They were so compassionate and truley cared about my puppy. Even after the claim was processed and complete...they followed up with me check on him to see how he was feeling. Healthy Paws is the best! When we have our Frenchie at 3months old, we were searching for a right health insurance carrier for him. After reviewed several different companies, we have decided to go with Healthy Paws. OMG, we are glad to make that decision. Our Frenchie had issues with "cherry" eye (both eyes). After several visits to vet hospital, and veterinarian stronlgy suggested that he needs a surgery, otherwise it will get worse (poor little guys, he was 10 months old). Can you imaging how much it would cost to us for the surgery? Bottom line, the surgery was successful. We submitted all the claims to Healthy Paws and reimbursement within a week(90% of the surgery cost). Our Frenchie vision is back to normal. Thank you Healty Paws!!!!!

Our eleven months beagle suddenly started vomiting blood. We took him to the vet and it was recognized by pancreatitis. I have 2 french bulldogs, need I say more! Kiwi has skin issues with severe allergies and requires weekly injection and Howard has had two cases of MAST cell cancer. I love knowing that I never have to second guess my decisions for treatment. This insurance is the best for coverage and reimbursement. I have the iPhone app and can submit my claim before leaving the parking lot. I get a quick response from one of the agents and they always start out by asking how are the dogs doing!!! I get followup emails checking on the wellbeing of my pets. I would and do recommend this insurance to anyone who asks.
