Excellent Experience No Hassle

Our 3 year old yellow lab Bella began limping on her left hind leg after an afternoon training session. After a few days with no improvement we visited our vet and was referred to a Vet Surgical specialty center. Torn ACL (CCL). Best option for her was a TPLO. Cost was $3250.00. We had taken out insurance a year ago and glad we did now. I was not sure how this was going to turn out so I called customer service and they were extremely reassuring on how to file the claim. Long story short, I submitted claim with all records on line on Monday. I received text they had my claim and by Thursday I had e-mail with EOB and Friday a e-mail saying check was in the mail and then another e-mail inquiring about how Bella is doing. This is the best experience I have had with any insurance and they paid off just like they advertise. No surprise.

Amazing Pet Insurance

Healthy Paws has process a number of claims for our sharpei, Callie, in the last three years. The most recent claim, as with the rest of them, was processed very quickly and without any issues whatsoever. The staff at Healthy Paws communicates the steps clearly and in a timely manner and everything is processed the way it should be, without so much as a question or issue. Great insurance, a great company to help protect our dog and I would highly recommend.

Excellent Customer Service!

Our lab mix, Jaz, needed surgery to repair a torn ACL. Very expensive. The claims I submitted related to this surgery were acknowledged within 24 hours and paid within 8 days! No problems, or issues. They even sent a follow up email to check on how Jaz was doing after the surgery! Great customer service. Great company.

Truly cares about our four-legged kids.

When we got our mini-Aussie, he came with a month of dog insurance from another pet insurance company. At the end of that month we decided to switch to Healthy Paws based on feedback from our Vet and the fact that they were a local company. We also had a five-year old Corgi at the time and decided to get insurance for her as well. I was surprised at how inexpensive her premium was for a dog that old. About five months after starting her insurance, after several extensive tests and treatments, she was diagnosed with polymiocitis. Over the next year and a half, we incurred an incredible amount of medical bills, bills Healthy Paws didn’t question or hesitate to cover. They never once questioned a medical charge and we received the reimbursement checks for each visit in less than a week. When she passed away, before we even had a chance to contact them to stop the premiums, we got an email offering their condolences and letting us know they had terminated her premium payments. Shortly thereafter we received a sympathy card in the mail signed by their entire staff. We were deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and genuine caring. I cannot imagine a human health insurance company being so responsive and prompt. Not only would I recommend Healthy Paws if someone were to ask me, I will suggest any new pet owner to seriously consider pet insurance and would direct them to Healthy Paws.
