Very Satistifed

I picked Healthy Paws after extensive research a couple years ago. My cat had some very major medical issues that were costly, and I hoped to avoid such costs in the future. After two years, I have been very happy. They were reasonable about assessing preexisting conditions and have responded to claims appropriately and quickly. The monthly cost has been reasonable and very worth it for us. We appreciate the peace of mind of knowing that major issues would be covered in the future, and that we can prioritize care over cost.

Paid my claim exactly as stated in policy!!!!!

We got our mini doxie when she was 1 1/2 years old learned that they tend to have back problems that often require very expensive surgery. We decided to take out pet insurance on her and chose Healthy Paws as they cover hereditary conditions. When Shelby turned around three, she began having back issues and a few weeks ago her leg seemed to be dragging. We took her to emergency and she needed surgery immediately. We could not have paid that much money if we did not have pet insurance. Healthy Paws has reimbursed us like they said they would and even sent a nice email asking how Shelby was doing on her recovery. This took alot of stress out of the situation so we could focus on Shelby and her recovery.

I highly recommend Healthy Paws

In the few years we've had our dog, we were fortunate enough to have Healthy Paws, but never had to use it. Then, one day, our dog suddenly couldn't use his back legs, and so we rushed him to the hospital. Turned out, he had four herniated discs and required surgery right away. Our total bill came out to be over $7700 for the surgery and the two nights/three days stay at the hospital. We paid it first, then submitted the claim. Since it was our first claim submission, they asked for all of our dog's medical records and said that it may take up to ten business days to process. Well, they got it done in just a few days AND told me they'd reimburse me accordingly to the plan I selected [which was a $250 deductible, and they'd cover 70%]. I was relieved! On top of that, I would get emails from representatives, asking me how my dog was doing. Not, "How's your dog, by the way, email me this and that." Nope, the email's sole purpose was just to follow up on how the surgery went, how the recovery's going, etc. I always recommend that pet owners get pet insurance, and I'll always name drop Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws: Excellent Customer Service

My husband and I wanted a French bulldog for so long and when we finally got our Ruby we knew due to Frenchies being prone to various health problems that we needed good insurance. Healthy Paws has been wonderful to us. Their mobile claim submission process is so quick and easy (all you have to do is take a picture of your bill and press submit). Their processing time is extremely quick. When Ruby needed major knee surgery they approved her claim within hours! We also appreciate Healthy Paws' great customer service. Any time we've called they've answered the phone and have been very friendly and helpful. They even emailed us asking how Ruby was coming along after her surgery!

A Pet Insurance that really cares

CJ, my English Cream Golden Retriever (almost 2 years) was dealing with diarrhea, losing weight, stomach pain and once in a while vomiting. My vet had a suspicion that CJ has IBD. To be sure CJ needed an intestinal biopsy which is the only way to find out IBD. It hurts to see your pet in pain and I wanted him to get the right treatment, so he can have fun again. Healthy Paws gave me such great support. Whenever I called they were friendly kind and very helpful. My claim was processed within a week and the greatest was when I received an e-mail from Healthy Paws where I was asked how CJ is feeling. That was so amassing and shows me that Healthy Paws really cares. Thank you so much for all your support.Woof from CJ 
