So Grateful I Have Them!

My adopted pitbull mix was rescued from the worst conditions. I chose Healthy Paws hoping I would not have to use it. Unfortunately my pup has had several health issues from slip disk requiring surgery, splenectomy and cancer surgery. They have saved me thousands of dollars !! Having Healthy Paws has allowed me to do whatever has been needed for my beloved pibble to heal . If it weren't for them I don't know what I would have done. I am so grateful to them !! They have fast claim reimbursement with no issues usually within a few days. So glad I made the decision to go with Healthy Paws !

Healthy Paws saved my dogs life...

My dog started having trouble breathing so we took her to our local pet ER. After tests, xrays, and an ultraound, they diagnosed her with pyothorax (fluid in her chest cavity). We transferred her to another vet that could do a CT scan then her surgery. After surgery, she was in the ICU for 10 days with a chest tube then another 2 days after the tube was removed, a total of 12 days. The total discharge bill was $20k plus a $5k ER bill. The plan we have has a $500 yearly deductible then 90% plan paid/10% customer paid. Our total out of pocket ended up being around $3k out of the $25k total bill. They saved her life because there was no way we would’ve been able to afford it without knowing we’d be reimbursed. And they made the reimbursement process so easy. They called the vet and got the confirmation they needed and I got a direct deposit a few days later. Thank you so much Healthy Paws!

Overall Wonderful

Overall, my experience with Healthy Paws insurance has been a positive one. Everything has been pretty simple to use and very clear understanding. They make the claim process pretty easy, I usually submit the invoice and email vet clinic notes that same day and within a week my claim has been processed. Only one time did I have an issue with a mistake on a claim but once I made a phone call the individual had it resolved within a couple days. This insurance cover so much and I haven’t had any issues with no coverage other than the things that are listed in the guidelines. Great customer service and reimbursements are done in a timely matter of about a week. Highly recommend to anyone.

Best insurance hands down

Have had them for 2 dogs and about to switch my other dog to them. My late dog had a brain tumor and they were awesome. When i terminated my insurance after my dog passed away they sent me a reimbursement check dor the cremation even though I had not filed a claim for that. My current dog has had valley fever and two ACL tears and they covered both surgeries and the valley fever tests and meds. When i submit a claim i get an answer within 2 days usually.
