A grateful surprise: no coverage loopholes!

I've never had an insurance company be so thoughtful. When Mimi's four bones broke on her tiny back paw, I was horrified as if she was my child. So I was relieved to have Healthy Paws as my saviour; especially my husband, whose eyes grew like giant black saucers when the vet told him the estimated costs. Like any other insurance claim, I was afraid there would be some sort of loophole where Mimi's injury would not qualify for coverage. So I was so happy and relieved to see how quickly my claims were processed. I was telling my staff in the office about it. Mimi is still hopping about on three legs with a tiny cast on her fourth. She will have it rebandaged a few more times, and xrayed in November to make sure it's healed, Thank you again,

Best Decision Ever!

This is our first time having pet insurance for one of ourpups and we have been beyond impressed with the level of customer service, how easy it is to submit claims (our vet just faxes the claims in for us after any procedure or visit), and the speed with which the claim is reviewed and the reimbursement checks arrive in the mail. In the very rare event, I need to call Healthy Paws, an actual person answers the phone immediately and they are always so, so helpful. It has been such a relief to know we have insurance while dealing with the stress (and expense) of keeping our little pug healthy. For years, we questioned whether or not pet insurance would be worth the "hassle" we were expecting in getting claims submitted and approved. But we have had such a positive experience, I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone I know that has a dog. Our only regret is waiting so long to sign up!

Our Life Savers!!

Bella was always really healthy, but we thought it would be a good idea to have her insured just in case. This last Christmas we had a malignant tumor removed from her foot, and then this summer, we had two mast cell tumors removed. It's been really hard on my family and Bella. Making decisions about the welfare of your dog is hard enough, but if you need to factor in how much it will cost, it's even worse. Healthy Paws has basically done exactly what they said on their website, and they've been extremely friendly and caring through out. Our claims have been processed quickly and I think very fairly. They basically had our back in the worst of times, and I honestly can't recommend them enough!

Healthy Paws is a Life Saver

Bella had always extremely healthy, but we had insurance just in case. But in the last eight months we've had two scares. She was diagnosed first with malignant tumor on her foot and then two Mast cell tumors. In both instances, she had surgery and on both occasions, Healthy Paws was there for us. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly. Claims were handle quickly and I think fairly. I really can't say anything better about an insurance company. I recommend them to all our doggie friends.

Why can't human insurance companies b like this?

Our 18 month old Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Mr Bill, has hip dysplasia along with a torn ACl and luxating patella. We met the $500 deductible before surgery. Healthy Paws paid me 90 percent of the total bill!! Surgery cost $4100 and I expected them to review and decide on each line item. Instead they actually paid 90 percent of the total within one week. amazing! Then they emailed asking how Mr. Bill is doing. Wow, an insurance company that really cares!!!! I cannot recommend enough. I am telling all my friends and vets!!
