Medical professional gives it the highest marks!

Four years, ago when my other Jack Russell died, I seriously considered pet insurance for the very first time. I had always thought it too expensive. For my other dog, who was 11 yrs. old, I had incurred $21,000 in expenses. So I enrolled Annie at the age of 7 in the 90% covered plan. I had researched it so carefully. For the first year, nothing. Since then $1,000's - probably $10,000. Annie a relatively healthy dog, got serious allergic problems to everything - costing $4,000 in dog dermatologist bills, cutting edge meds, etc. Recently, potential cancer that turned out to be a benign tumor (that could have killed her if left untreated) - $5,500 and many other lesser conditions. Healthy Paws always sent me the reimbursement within days, they sent personal letters inquiring about Annie's health and never fail to send birthday and other holiday cards to her. They never terminate her insurance due to her significantly high expenses, nor raise the price of insurance. Obviously, we have gotten significantly more than we have paid. As a medical professional, I seek the best medical care for my dog and that costs - Healthy Paws never hesitates to pay. I love Healthy Paws!

Healthy Paws is the best insurance for my dogs!

When selecting my pet insurance, I had researched all of the pet insurance companies. I am so happy to have chosen the best pet insurance for my dogs! It takes a lot of the stress away from making any decisions for sick dogs. My wheatie has gone through a lot in the past couple of years and Healthy Paws has never given me a problem. My wheaten was very sick for a couple months in 2014, he would vomit after every meal. He would then get better for a few days and start to vomit again. He had lost almost 6 lbs, but after being diagnosed my vet and I tried an elimination diet. It's been a year and he has gained all his weight back and happy as ever! Recently, he had a cyst (he had it since he was a year old) on his tail became infected. He had surgery to remove the cyst. I have been with healthy paws for 4 years! Big or small, Healthy Paws has been there!

Peace of mind

I can't tell you what a relief it is to have Healthy Paws as my insurance for my two active dogs. When they are sick or have an injury, I never need to worry about not being able to provide them the care they need because I know I have Healthy Paws to support me. Healthy Paws covers my claims with speed and follows up via email to see how my dogs are after they see they've been ill. It is super easy to process claims and the check arrives at my house before my credit card bill is due. I sing their praises and wish they covered humans!

I will have Healthy Paws as long as I have pets.

It was hard picking an insurance years ago because there were so many. My friend recommended Healthy Paws and told me they cover 90%, and more services than others. I couldn't be happier that I listened to her. I had 3 dogs all under Healthy Paws for many years now. You have flexibility in picking the right plan for your budget, which is important. However, the service, responsiveness and care they provide in the hardest of times is absolutely priceless. I absolutely love healthy paws. Submitting a claim takes seconds, if you have a phone APP. They never gave me a hard time. There is a quick turn around from when you submit until you get your reimbursement. They send emails checking in on my pets when they were sick. And when my first dog had passed away, which was beyond devastating to me, they sent me a hand written card. I never expected a sympathy card from my pet insurance company. Highly recommend them. There is no worse feeling than your pet needed medical help and not being able to afford it. Luckily, I was able to help my pets when it was needed because of the 90% reimbursement.

awesome insurance

Our Jack Russell Terrier has been insured since he was 2, and since then has had ACL surgery on his left leg, emergency surgery after getting bit by another dog, and most recently, ACL surgery on his right leg. We've had the worst case scenarios in what we could have gone through as pet owners, over $10K in medical bills, but fortunately Healthy paws have been with us every step of the way and had our back for every procedure. Our dog is now recovering and we're so glad that we selected this insurance company. I know there's so many choices when you look online but this had to have been the best choice we made. What other insurance company follows up a claim asking the condition of your dogs and shows true concern about the well being of your furbaby? :)
