Great Company

My dog needed eye surgery 6000.00 lucky I had Healthy Paws insurance. It was so easy to submit a claim with the iPhone app. I got my check in 3 days. I was always worried about getting dog insurance thinking they would deny every claim. Healthy Paws is a 1st class company and I would not use anyone else. I am not the type of person to leave reviews but they really care about your pet. Just make sure its not a pre existing illness and you will be very happy with this great company.

Couldn't ask for more!

Our dog Mika has had two major surgeries to repair ACL tears in both hind legs. Healthly Paws not only made submitting the claim easy, they promptly reimbursed us. Being able to upload invoices and send them in without all the other hassles involved, makes the process a breeze! Wish I known about Healthy Paws years ago! I've been referring my friends as often as I can.

Beware of the ABSURD annual rate increases!

I WAS a happy Healthy Paws customer for about 4 years. I just received notice of yet another annual rate increase...this year's rate increase is 8%. For reference, the 2015 inflation rate is near 0%. After I got last year's rate increase notice, I adjusted my policy to keep my monthly payment within my budget. This year, I'm forced to yet again decide whether to adjust my policy downward, go over budget, or find a new provider. I understand periodic rate increases but the frequency and the amount of the increases by Healthy Paws are absurd!

exceed my expectations for any insurance company!

Bo is our first ever dog (or pet for that reason). I was recommended to carry an insurance on a puppy. Not knowing what to expect, and usually not being a fond of insurance companies in general, I was hesitant. I made some research, and Healthy Paws looked a lot more sincere. I decided to purchase and wait and see for one year if I will ever need to use the insurance. Sure enough Bo had a major surgery at 9 months and second at 23 months. Healthy Paws covered everything in the agreement, with no questions, and followed up on Bo asking how he was doing. The claims were processed within 2-3 days. Online submission of the receipts is very convenient. i have been recommending Healthy paws to anyone I meet now. It is a great company, with great service and they really love animals!

Very best pet insurance in the entire United States

I was very hesitant to purchase pet insurance although I had had a number of dogs with costly illnesses. After my last Jack Russell died and I had incurred over $20,000 in bills, I changed my mind. After doing careful research, I secured Healthy Paws 90% plan. The price was very reasonable, they did not cancel you for chronic diseases and they didn't raise your premium after you had incurred costly claims. I cost them nothing for one year. However, the last three years, having a fairly "healthy" Jack Russell, Annie still experienced a lot of very expensive conditions to pay for - over $10,000. Allergic conditions requiring the only dog allergist in Northern Virginia and cutting edge treatments. A benign tumor that cost $3,000 to diagnose at a dog cancer center and $2,500 to excise and other assorted and miscellaneous conditions. Healthy Paws certainly lost money on us. Nevertheless, they always paid our claims within 4 days, sent us condolence notes in email, when Annie was going through a particularly difficult illness and never failed to send her birthday and holiday cards. They also give a portion of her monthly insurance fee to dog charities. I can't tell you how much I love them and how lucky I was to find them. I had compared many plans and others would not pay for chronic conditions and no one was willing to cover 90%. I tell everyone, you should joint too.
