Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws is so easy to work with! Our 2.5 year old pup had to spend a night in the emergency vet clinic due to stomach issues. The clinic submitted the claim on our behalf, and within a couple of days the claim check arrived. The one thing that really stood out, however, was a personal email from Healthy Paws checking in on Izzi and her tummy issues.Healthy Paws is an insurance company who seems to care! highly recommended!

Nayah is a beautiful, super sweet pitbull mix my husband and I rescued... she's our only child. We discovered Nayah had a cyst-like growth that was pressing on her spinal-cord that could have very likely caused her to eventually not be able to walk. After only having my kitten for 3 months he chewed up part of one of his toys and ate it. He started having stomach issues, including vomiting and not eating or drinking. Took him to the vet and he needed a fecal test, X rays, blood work and an IV to find out what was wrong. The bill quickly neared $1000. After he got all better, I submitted my claim which was very simple and easy. After a couple days a check was sent to me. The whole process was very simple and there was no surprises or issues with what was covered.

I'm so glad we decided to go with Healthy Paws for our cat's insurance. Her ins only kicked in a few days before the big accident. It was a BIG accident -- 3 days in the ICU, over $6k emergency care bill. (AND it was a few weeks before Xmas). I was super worried that we would get grief from the ins company because we had only been members for a week and now there's this huge claim. Didn't have to worry. The vet submitted the claim. I called to see if any paper work was missing. Got to a person immediately. It was awesome. She was super nice. Our claim was processed within a few days and a reimbursement check sent out soon after. Not to sound dramatic, but Healthy Paws kinda saved Xmas. AND they sent us an email asking how our boobear was doing. The email was so simple and sweet and personal. I wish my own health ins was this good. Lifetime members for sure. tldr; I highly recommend. The whole process was handled so quickly and easily. With everything we've been through with this little one, it's nice to know that we don't have to worry about filing claims, paperwork, or disgruntled ins ppl.
