TPLO Surgery Needed During First Home Purchase

Our two year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever injured her hind leg and needed expensive TPLO surgery. We're in the process of buying our first home, and this unforeseen expense could have been a major set back for us if it weren't for the Healthy Paws team who assured us that based on our policy, most of the cost would be covered. Our claim was processed very quickly, which helped us to avoid any issues with our lender. We really appreciate how quickly everything was taken care of!

I am a Very Satisfied Customer!

It was so easy to submit a claim and reimbursement was so quick I couldn't believe it!! They even checked up on Lilly to see how she was doing. I researched many other companies and thankfully decided on Healthy Paws. They did not disappoint! Thank you Healthy Paws!

Honest

My Boston Terrier, Winnie the Pig, was dying. What happened? She just stopped eating and got sick. We took her to emergency and they said she needed critical care. She was bleeding inside. An ultrasound showed a tumor on her spine and she needed ER surgery- $7,000. We didn't have it and no one in our family could or would help us. Desperate and grieving we called Health Paws. They immediately called PETS ER and authorized the surgery over the phone. I will NEVER forget what they did. Winnie had the surgery and her life was saved. Unfortunately, the tumor was hemangiosarcoma, a bleeding cancer. Still, Healthy Paws has been there all along and paid 90% of the surgery bill just as promised in their contract. Today, you would not know Winnie is sick at all. She is running crazy like a Boston should and we are working with a homeopathic vet to give her the best quality of life for as long as possible. Because of Healthy Paw's quick response we have our beautiful girl for maybe several more months - a miracle. Plus, Healthy Paws has emailed me more than once to ask about Winnie's recovery. I tell everyone animal lover I meet about Health Paws. I will always stay with this company.

Great Company

I bought pet insurance on the advice of a friend. I had no idea I would ever need it. I am so glad I bought it and so glad I chose Healthy Paws. The company has been beyond easy to work with. It is easy to submit claims, I get a check in less than a week and they pay for everything they say they will. My doberman began showing signs of Wobblers syndrome a year ago and he began frequent trips to the water treadmill and acupuncturist to try and preserve as much function as possible. But unfortunately he progressed. Most recently Remington had major surgery to relieve pressure on his spinal cord and he is doing fantastic. Healthy Paws paid 80% of all of his rehab treatments for over a year, and then 80% of his surgery including everything involved in 4 days in the Neuro ICU. I was quickly losing my boy and the surgery has given him his life back. Within a week of surgery I had a $5,700 check in the mail box. I could never have afforded such fabulous care without insurance. I tell anyone who will listen to buy Healthy Paws now! They will be so so glad they did!

Healthy Paws is Amazing

Just four months ago I started my insurance with Healthy Paws for a 5-year old pitbull mix Auggie. He's an awesome, hardy guy, but it's hard to tell when he has problem. Just three months after getting insurance, he was at the vet for lots of tests and in the hospital for surgery. It's a long story, but the short end of it is that we spent over $8K in vet bills. I filed the claims by iPhone, and after a few days of review they sent checks for the full amount without question. They will cover anything that is not a pre-existing condition, there was no back-and-forth debating parts of the complicated invoices, and all I had to do was take pics of the invoices and send them to Healthy Paws. It was such a relief!
