Excellent service gives peace of mind

This company is awesome. I did a lot of research before I bought pet insurance and chose Healthy Paws due to the reviews. I finally had to submit a large claim for my cat who had to be hospitalized over Xmas Eve due to eating some bad wheat grass. They covered exactly what the policy said. I submitted the cat's history on New Year's Eve (Thursday) and the claim was approved that day. I had a check in hand by Monday. It was truly amazing. They also made sure to follow up on my cat with a very warm, sweet email which sounds goofy but really made my day with such a personal touch. Healthy Paws really gives me peace of mind for my cat's care. Outstanding!

Outstanding Service

My dog has better insurance then I do. Easy to file and I received my claim in about a week. Fast, friendly, and no hassle. When my pet was sick having the insurance put my mind at ease and allowed me to focus where it was needed.... My pet. Thank you for offering such a great service to pet owners.

Ethical, Honest, was really there when we needed them

I have three pets and I began to think about acquiring pet health insurance. I was not looking forward to having yet another monthly bill, but I thought it was a good idea to have insurance if any of my family's beloved pets became ill or had a sudden accident. I did plenty of research before deciding on Healthy Paws, and I located and carefully read all the 'fine print" on theirs and other insurance carriers' contracts. Healthy Paws was straight forward and not too expensive, and I also noticed in my research what appeared to be many real and satisfied customers. My older pet understandably required a higher deductible, and as with almost all pet insurance carriers, pre-existing conditions were not covered. However, the deductible was not too high and was payable every year, NOT every incident like other insurance carriers. About 8-months after signing up for Healthy Paws, my 11 year old male cat had a urinary blockage, that led to a bladder rupture, that quickly spiraled beyond the expertise of my vet and required a specialist and also emergency care/hospitalization. The bills quickly piled on to amounts that weakened my knees, but luckily, I had savings, and I wasn't sure if Healthy Paws would hold up its end of the bargain once I submitted my pets' history and invoices. Surprisingly, there was about a one-week turn around for each claim (shorter amount of time than they indicated), and I was reimbursed as promised with no complications. Through a tough battle, my cat was saved, and is currently in recovery, and I was able to focus on getting him better with the comfort of knowing that I had an honest and ethical insurance company to cover the majority of the bills as they promised they would. Being ethical and an insurance company are two things that are usually not expected to go hand-in-hand, but my emergency experience with Healthy Paws has restored my faith that there are actually companies still out there trying to do right by their customer. Our family has their best friend back, and our cat was able to get the best treatment possible. When considering pet insurance, read the fine print before signing up, and keep in mind my experience, because if there's the slightest chance your pet can survive an emergency situation, Healthy Paws will afford you peace of mind so that you can focus on finding that chance and possibly enjoy many more years with your pet/companion/best-friend.

100% satisfied

Healthy Paws has been fantastic to deal with, reasonably priced for monthly premium, easy to submit claims, quick processing and receipt of claim funds and kind and caring staff who helped us greatly when our 2 year old black lab tore her cruciate ligament and needed a $4700 surgery. They covered 90% of the surgery which made it a very easy process for us so we could focus on our dog's needs without worrying about money. They've followed up with us to see how she is healing post operatively., I am thrilled I chose Healthy Paws after extensive research. I HIGHLY recommend them and tell everyone I know!
