Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Insuring our pets has always been an action our family takes. Some might feel that the cost isn't worth it if you have a dog that never has a health issue but that is not usually the case. Granted, it can be pricey. Our Portuguese Water Dog recently got diagnosed with Addison's disease and the vet visits and emergency care required can be overwhelming. I'm grateful for the very easy to use claim submittal process and prompt processing of reimbursements. Also for the friendly, personal touch of checking in on our dog when it was clear there he was very ill. Thanks HealthyPaws!

We've used Healthy Paws for several years for our two dogs. One of our pups has had sporadic health issues during that time. Our experience with claims and reimbursement with Healthy Paws has been excellent with each occurrence. Our plan with HP includes a very reasonable premium and excellent coverage. My first experience was positive and timely. My cat Petey suffered a urinary blockage so time was of the essence. He is on the mend and hope he doesn't have a recurrence. I filed the claim with Healthy Paws and they paid out as expected in 10 days...better than human insurance! HP did not nitpick the paperwork I sent in and kept me apprised of the status of my claim. I have great peace of mind now given the excellent service I received.

This company is awesome. I did a lot of research before I bought pet insurance and chose Healthy Paws due to the reviews. I finally had to submit a large claim for my cat who had to be hospitalized over Xmas Eve due to eating some bad wheat grass. They covered exactly what the policy said. I submitted the cat's history on New Year's Eve (Thursday) and the claim was approved that day. I had a check in hand by Monday. It was truly amazing. They also made sure to follow up on my cat with a very warm, sweet email which sounds goofy but really made my day with such a personal touch. Healthy Paws really gives me peace of mind for my cat's care. Outstanding!
