Stuck with us even when the big bills piled in

We purchased pet insurance for our Cattle Dog Kona who is our first child within a few months of getting her. At the time we did it because we knew that when faced with a tough decision we would totally blow our budget and do whatever was necessary to help her. Unfortunately we had to use our insurance for a horrific accident that left her with a broken vertebrae and spinal damage/motor impairment. Healthy Paws has been there through surgery, medications, overnight stays and post operative care including rehab. Their online claims submission is quick and easy and we have yet to be surprised by or challenged on coverage of something we didn't expect. Not to mention, when you send an e-mail or ask a question you get a timely answer from real, helpful staff and not a runaround. Thank you again and again Healthy Paws for helping us get our baby girl healthy and active again!

The Best Pet Insurance by far!

We switched from VPI to Healthy Paws after discovering they had a schedule of coverage that wasn't nearly sufficient for the real costs of illness. Since then, our standard poodle has been very ill with liver disease. We were able to make all health decisions without considering costs. Healthy Paws had completed every single claim in a timely fashion - covering 90% of all costs including costly prescription medications. I have recommended several friends and would rate them #1 by far!

Caring and effective customer service

If you are looking into pet insurance, Healthy Paws is the way to go! We decided to purchase pet insurance for our dog, Sampson. We have been happy with the service, communication, coverage and plain kindness of these folks, but never more than now, when Sampson has been diagnosed with cancer. From the first visit to the ultrasound to the big oncology visit we have today, I know Healthy Paws is with us. The claims service is excellent and has been simple to handle. What matters even more is that the claim handlers really care. As soon as i submitted an invoice, i had a response, and the claim was handled within a day. And the personal touch is so evident, with the "give Sampson a hug" to "we are so sorry" along with the great service. Thank you.

Outstanding

I was hesitant at getting insurance for my puppy. But I am so glad I because my puppy suffered an injury and knocked her kneecap out and had to have knee surgery twice. Healthy Paws has been excellent, I have been contacted by them to see how my puppy was doing after the surgery! The customer service is excellent, claims processing is excellent! I can not say enough good things about them. They are efficient, I submitted a claim for her 2nd surgery and 3 medications that I had to pick up at a pharmacy and within a few hours I received confirmation that the claim was already processed. I wish healthy paws also insured humans!

Very happy to have this kind of pet insurance.

Hello Tim, Thank you for checking up on my (68 lb) little guy. So far he seems to be a happy health dog but the only thing is, his eating habits are not the same. I think he had food poisoning only because now he seems to not want to eat anything and everything. He is being real picky with food and is just sticking to his kibbles and treats without a problem. I know that's a good thing, at least he's still eating. BTW, I think you guys are wonderful with the way you handled my claim. I was worried that Tank's vet bill would set us back but it didn't because of how easy and fast my claim was handled. That meant the world to me. Thank you so much,
