Quick personal service

My dog Bailey had dental issues. I submitted my first claim and went out of town. When I received a request for her records from my vet I explained that I was out of town. I got an email right back saying Healthy Paws would follow up with my vet to get the records. Within a few days I had my claim resolved an a check on the way. Then today I got an email asking how she was. I am so happy I did get insurance and that I went with Healthy Paws. Their personal service is outstanding!

Best Pet Insurance Ever!

Healthy Paws has truly been a lifesaver. Their coverage is so straightforward (no exclusions) and they have paid 90% of all our dogs bills. Our dog got a stick in his esophagus and then aspirated his vomit and almost died of pneumonia. We were able to get him all the care he needed without worrying about the expense. I just snapped pictures of the bills with the Healthy Paws app and we had our checks within 3 days. It couldn't be easier. This insurance is the best money you could spend for your pet!

Incredible Peace of Mind on a Scary Weekend

A few weeks back our beloved dog Robot developed a bad cough that eventually devolved into lethargy, loss of appetite, etc., to the point where Robot had to be rushed to the emergency vet. There he was diagnosed with a severe bronchial infection that turned out to be bacterial pneumonia. The illness was severe enough to require an extended hospital stay, plus numerous tests and antibiotics, etc. etc. The bill was very big—bigger than our family would have comfortably been able to afford. Luckily we had the peace of mind of a Healthy Paws insurance policy, making the cost of the hospitalization and multiple procedures of little concern. As a result, Robot was able to receive the world-class medical treatment needed to save his life. I am more than happy to say that he is now happily curled up in a ball next to my feet, on his way to a full recovery. Working with Healthy Paws was completely seamless. We had a reimbursement check in our mailbox within just a few days (before our credit card bill even became due.) They even followed-up with a personal message to make sure Robot was ok. I am forever grateful to them for their assistance in what was a very scary time in our lives. They are the best insurance company—animal, human, car, home or otherwise—I have ever worked with.

The best decision we've made!

Getting pet insurance through Healthy Paws has been one of the best decisions we have ever made! Our dog has had two major ligament injuries and subsequent surgeries. Healthy Paws covered a huge amount of the cost, as well as the cost for physical therapy, meds, and even supplements. They review claims and send out checks within a few days! Not to mention the fact that the company has great customer service with very friendly and helpful people! I recommend this company to all my friends and family with pets. I truly have nothing but good things to say about our experience!

Fast & Easy Claims, Peace of Mind

It's hard to find anyone who actually likes paying for insurance. Having that rainy-day backup, especially when it comes to beloved pets, is so nice, though. I no longer lose sleep wondering what I would do if my dog(s) got really sick or badly injured. I do my best to keep them safe but my dogs are professional trouble-finders and we've made more than a few trips to the emergency vet through the years. So far I've spent more on the insurance than I have received back on claims but this isn't about breaking even. It's about insurance for those scary things that happen while the last thing you want to be thinking about is how you'll pay for it all. I've submitted some small online claims to Healthy Paws in the past year. I was very impressed by how quickly and how accurately they were processed/reimbursed. Healthy Paws does not reimburse for some things like vaccinations, preventive meds, or vet exam fees. They offer different levels of deductibles/reimbursement rates, which makes it easy to compare prices and select a plan. I also got a bit of a discount on the rates when I adopted a second dog and added her to the policy. Monthly premiums are automatically billed to my credit card, making the whole thing seamless and easy. And yes, the premiums do increase by a small amount every year. When I compared different pet insurance plans, this Healthy Paws seemed to cover more major treatment expenses than the rest, which is why I ultimately chose them. All in all I'm really happy with this company and I truly appreciate knowing we'll be in great hands (or paws) when we need it the most.
