Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws was one of the best decisions my wife and I made when we got our new pup almost 2 years ago. Recently, Jailbreak (JB for short) started having an upset tummy that quickly turned to vomiting anything he ate and diarrhea that looked like something out of a horror movie. This led us to the emergency vet at 2AM requiring hospitalization and monitoring for over a day. In the end he made a complete recovery, the vet said we made the right call, and Healthy Paws took immediate care of us. Once I submitted the claim, they processed in just a few days and had a check to us that covered most of the costs in about a week. On top of that, their client services team even did a personal outreach to make sure JB was back on his feet. If you get a puppy, get Healthy Paws. Sooner or later, no matter how closely you watch them, they'll get into something that will require a medical attention. Dogs will be dogs, and we can rest easy knowing he'll be covered.

Healthy paws has been amazing for my dog over the last four years. She has had an unfortunate amount of health problems including a rare auto immune disorder and a tumor in her eye. Healthy paws has been there the whole way, covering 90% of almost all costs. Vet visits are not covered but medication and surgeries are. Without healthy paws it would have been difficult to pay for all our medical expenses. It is very easy to submit claims with their app. I just take a picture of my invoice, send it in, and recieve a check in the mail a week or so later. Healthy paws is a must have and I will continue to get it for every dog I have.

One of the best pet insurances by far. They not only pay the 90% (less very low deductible) they follow up after the case to see if your pet is progressing well and willing to answer any other questions thereafter. They even converse with the vet since I was caught up in my dog's care.

I had done a ton of research on which would be the best Pet Insurance Company to go with for our new French Bulldog puppy. We have had previous Bulldogs in our family, but never did have pet insurance and vowed we would always get it with our next family member so we did not take this decision lightly. It is easy to submit a claim either online or via the cell phone ap and the turn-around time from submission to payment is less than 10 days! To top it off - the Ap offers awesome Pet Health tips and the Customer Service is just amazing at this company. I have recommended it to several of my friends and will continue to do so.
