Easiest insurance process I've ever been through

I signed up for Healthy Paws 2 years ago at a friend's recommendation. He had been through a claims process and said it was easy. I needed insurance so I thought, why not? Boy am I glad I did! Recently we had to use our insurance for my dog's broken tooth. The claim was processed within a few days. As it was the first claim, it required his medical records but his dr's office faxed it directly with no issues. I'm expecting a check any day in the mail. Pain free and seamless. Healthy Paws even emailed to check in on my dog! I am highly impressed.

A wonderful group

My Jack Russell terrier Riley was attacked by a Rottweiler (it wasn't a fair fight) in an RV park in Cottonwood, AZ. We were referred to Tumbleweed Vet Clinic, who were wonderful.Just as wonderful was my experience with Healthy Paws. Everyone was friendly, sympathetic, and very helpful, going out of their way to make sure the trauma over my dog's injuries was not compounded by the usual hassles one experiences with insurance companies. Anyone contemplating buying pet insurance should not hesitate to choose Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws spells Relief!

After exhaustive research and a previous bad experience with pet insurance, I settled on Healthy Paws. Last week that research paid off. My dog, Maxx, developed bloat which is a dire emergency. No time to get everything in order. After getting him complete care, I filed my claim. Just took a picture of the bill with my phone and hit "submit." Really! I had set everything up when I signed up and it said they would do that but IT WORKED!!!! That was it! I could go back to focusing on my dog. Within 24 hours I not only received notice via email that they were processing the claim, but that was soon followed by a detailed and easy to understand EOB! Best thing? They paid exactly what I expected. No excuses or hidden clauses. I want this insurance for myself!! This gives me the peace of mind that if a crisis hits with my pet at a time when I might not be in a good financial place to deal with it, I can relax and focus on his care. A few days later I got a follow-up asking in specific detail how Maxx was doing and referencing his condition. I don't know why we can't do this for humans, but maybe it's just that animals bring out the best in humans. I highly recommend!

Healthy Paws- The Gold Standard of Pet Insurance

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so regarding Healthy Paws Pet Insurance ("HP"). They truly are the gold standard of pet insurance. Why do I think HP is outstanding? Because of their excellent medical coverage and customer service. There is always a helpful HP representative who promptly and competently answers any questions. The processing of a claim couldn't be easier. And when I have filed a claim I promptly hear back from HP confirming receipt of the claim and its status. I received in days, not weeks, 90% reimbursement of medical costs incurred, which is excellent coverage. The quick reimbursement is especially impressive and appreciated as my dog'ssurgery for a severe tibia fracture was approximately $6000. HP was also so thoughtful in sending kind inquiries and wishes regarding my dog's recovery. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for pet insurance. They are simply the best!
