Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws continues to astound me in their speed of processing claims. A couple years ago our dog Mickey had a severe and life threatening reaction to rattle snake vaccine - Healthy Paws processed his emergency claims within a couple days and we had our reimbursement within a week. This past week another of our dogs, little Frodo, had an emergency splenectomy, and his claim was processed in 1 day. Unfortunately, Frodo has been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. With Healthy Paws in our corner, the one thing I need not fear is being able to say YES to any treatment our vet recommends. They are remarkably compassionate when I call and always follow up to check how our babies are doing.

My friends questioned my sanity for getting pet insurance on my latest four-legged boy. But given what I was hearing about Labs and issues I enrolled when he was very young. Unfortunately he's had bilateral elbow dysplasia on his front legs and the first of probably two ACR surgeries on his rear legs. This was the best policy I've owned, and Heathy Paws has bee incredible through his short 3 years. Awesome caring people, quick claims processing, and ultra fast payments! I highly recommend this company and the people who truly care about your pet.

I reviewed all the Pet insurances and compared them and Healthy Paws came out on top of them all, esp. for the cost of the premium. It was 1/2 what some wanted to charge for what we needed. Then 2 months after getting Healthy Paws insurance for our beloved dog, Zeke, he was diagnosed with mediastinal lymphosarcoma. Healthy Paws was wonderful about paying his claims and made it so easy for us to submit them. Never did they question a charge. Sadly Zeke passed away but we know we did the very best we could for him and Healthy Paws took the financial sting out of his treatments.

My 2 year old cat needed hip surgery and it was quite expensive. I submitted the claim to Healthy Paws on a Thursday evening, and received a check covering 90% of the expense the following Monday. I have also had occasion to call a couple of times, and have spoken to very caring, considerate, professional, compassionate, and helpful people. They help make pet ownership even more of a pleasure than it already is!
