Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Excellent coverage. Submitting a claim was easy and they got us a check fast. I'm happy to have them and will continue to use them as our insurance for our animals.

Our dog recently had to have surgery and we are so fortunate that we had Healthy Paws insurance! Their service has been excellent throughout this entire ordeal. The process of submitting claims could not have been easier and their responsiveness and status updates were always clear and timely and much appreciated! They have also been so supportive through the entire process and even sent emails to check on our dog and see how she was doing - so thoughtful!!! Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

We have three amazing dogs who have, unfortunately, had some bad luck - including a life-threatening GDV emergency surgery. We have never, ever not been able to treat because Healthy Paws has our backs, always. They have not only ALWAYS covered what they should, but have treated me with care and compassion during times of high stress. I have had Healthy Paws since both of my Shih Tzu's were puppies. Both have had substantial vet bills. Healthy Paws has reimbursed on vet bills promptly and it couldn't be any easier to file a claim. Premiums have increased only minimally so far. I am so pleased with Healthy Paws!!

I have been a customer with Healthy Paws for over 7 years now and unfortunately they have gone from excellent to a headache. Claims that were covered in the past now are no longer covered. The constant having to call their customer service and fight has become exhausting. They have turned into the typical insurance company, denying claims and hoping that people won’t call and dispute it. On top of that my rates have doubled from the quote they originally gave me. I understand that they have to keep up with inflation but again the constant aggravation of calling about every claims has just not made it worth the hassle.I used to recommend them to family and friends but not anymore. *edit Since posting I had a rep reach out to me and explain the coverage and benefits. While I still feel exams for specific bloodwork (bloodwork based on his current covered disease ) should be covered I understand now that it is not. Thank you again for reaching out.
