I highly recommend Healthy Paws health insurance.

I cannot praise this company enough.they were here when we needed them. Our dog tore her ACL last week and needed surgery. I turned in all the paperwork to Healthy Paws and payment is already on the way. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for your pet.

Healthy Paws Saved Our Dogs Life

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance saved our dog's life. My wife though I was being overly cautious suggesting that we purchase pet insurance 3 years ago when we adopted our beloved collie mutt, Fox. Last week, however, she told me it was on of the best decisions I'd ever talked her into. Our normally healthy 3 1/2 year old pup suddenly started having difficulty breathing about a week and a half ago, and we noticed that her heart was beating rapidly. We brought her to the emergency vet, who diagnosed her with a spontaneous pneumothorax (a collapsed lung, life threatening), caused by a pulmonary bleb. Totally random and unpreventable, and likely to recur without surgery. The most shocking part was the vet bill. The The vet quoted us $11,000 -$16,000 for total cost of care including surgery and hospitalization. We did not have money like this to spend on vet bills and feared we might be faced with making a terrible decision. I immediately called Healthy Paws, and within minutes their friendly and comforting staff assured me that under the plan that we signed up for 3 years ago, they would cover 90% of covered veterinary costs (and in case you're wondering, most everything was in fact covered, minus the initial vet exam and our minimal co-pay). I was shocked and so relieved. A week later, I'm sitting here now with Fox curled up at my feet, feeling utterly grateful for having the foresight to sign up with Healthy Paws when we adopted our puppy those 3 years back. Healthy Paws continues to be easy to work with, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing we will continue to be able to take care of our fur-kid for years to come is priceless. On behalf of Merritt, Jess and Fox, Thank you, Healthy Paws!!

Healthy Paws Is The Best

Healthy Paws has been the best investment I ever made. They are so easy to work with and no hassles. My dog Jackson had surgery two weeks ago and Healthy Paws was great, they even emailed me to check up on Jackson. Thank you!

Extremely Satisfied Customer

Our dog Zayn recently needed exploratory surgery after being sick for a few days and not being able to hold down food or water. Of course a piece of toy was found lodged in his stomach. Knowing we had Healthy Paws on our side to help with the bill for his surgery was one less thing we had to worry about. Our claim was submitted just days after the surgery and we had a reimbursement check a week later. We had an insurance plan for our other dog with Trupanion and were denied a claim because of a "pre-existing" condition for an unrelated mast cell tumor 5 years earlier. Despite being paying customers for 5 years they of course found a way to deny our claim when we needed help. We wish we had Healthy Paws for him as well. Definitely recommended!

Surpassed my expectations.

Healthy Paws insurance has been a god send. It enabled us to immediately remedy a condition that would have caused severe pain and permanent lameness for our sweet little rescued dog. The coverage cost is reasonable, but more importantly the customer service is (in a word)...excellent!! Claims are easy to submit right from my phone and are processed quickly. Every interaction both online and by phone has been a positive experience in dealing with staff that are friendly, articulate and knowledgeable . I did research different companies before choosing Healthy Paws and am happy to report that they have even surpassed my expectations .
