They saved my dog's life

The doctors discovered a heart murmur in my puppy. Healthy Paws made it possible for me to get her the surgery she needed. Now, she has a full life expectancy instead of just the two years she would have had without surgery.

Better Than Human Insurance

I've filed 2 claims with Healthy Paws. First claim was a standard biopsy to test a lump found on my 8+ yr old dog. Second claim was the surgery to remove the tumor (which we found out was benign, yay!). Process: You pay the invoice from the Vet. Take a picture of the invoice and upload it to their app. Send the claim. In a few days, the claim will be processed and completed shortly (for me, it took no more than a week). You get a check in the mail a couple days after. Healthy Paws is so incredibly easy to use and unlike most other insurance agencies, does not have any hidden costs or loophole hunters trying to find ways to milk money off of you. Actually, it's quite the opposite. They care so much about your pet. After my second claim was completed, I received an email from an associate at Healthy Paws (Tim) checking in because he noticed on the claim it said my dog had surgery and he wanted to know how she was recovering. How amazing is that?!?!?! That's the best customer service I have ever received in any experience--human or animal. I really appreciate the straight forward simplicity of Healthy Paws. I've emailed and called them and they are super responsive, kind, and helpful. They've even helped me get in touch and sort things out with my Vet when my Vet had issues getting back to me. All in all, Healthy Paws is the best insurance company for your pet. It's even better than human insurance!

Thank you for helping Frankie (and us!)

We have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance since adopting our dog, Frankie, in the fall of 2015. I had originally thought that it would be a 'nice to have', but felt unlikely that we would actually need it. I couldn't have been more wrong. In 2016, Frankie had to have two obstruction surgeries, in addition to some smaller procedures. Healthy Paws has been wonderful to deal with, and a lifesaver. In each instance, the claims process is easy, and Healthy Paws processes in a timely manner, and communicates throughout the process. Using the app is a breeze, and I appreciate that Healthy Paws has checked in to see how Frankie is recovering after both major surgeries. I really could not be happier with the care and coverage we have received from Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws was there for us time and again!

I am not someone who often writes online reviews, but for Healthy Paws, I felt I absolutely must! I have had coverage on my sweet little dog for most of the first year of her life. Unfortunately, my little dog I'd hoped was so healthy has had so many (expensive) health issues (knee surgery, eye surgery, digestive problems). Thankfully, Healthy Paws has been there every single step of the way. The coverage has been wonderful and just as promised. The claim process is incredibly easy to use (there's even an App). And Healthy Paws has even personally checked on how my little pup was doing, wishing her well after her surgeries, etc. Of course, we wish we hadn't needed to make any claims at all! But when we needed it (and we sure did), Healthy Paws gave us the financial peace of mind to make decisions that were truly best for our dog. As a military family, I am so glad to know that no matter where we live, we can always find the best care for our pup knowing that Healthy Paws will be there, too.
