Kitty root canal gone wonderfully

Healthy paws covered everything that they said they would and made my cat's root canal affordable. I'm a vet student, so cost is always something I'm wary of! I'm so glad that I had the pet insurance to take care of my little fur ball, and now he's eating as though nothing ever happened! They handled my claim as soon as I submitted it, and the check is in the mail now! When I graduate, I plan to recommend this insurance to all of my clients, as it really takes the stress off from expensive procedures such as this. It makes it a lot easier to afford these, and also easier in that it allows the vet to give the best possible standard of care, without having to cut corners for cost reasons. Healthy paws is a great investment for any good pet parent who can't afford to pay hundreds to thousands of dollars out of pocket!

Worth every penny

I have 2 Pomeranian's and they're both insured with Healthy Paws. One of them recently became ill after eating a piece of metal and required several visits to the vet. Healthy paws quickly reimbursed all 3 claims, no questions asked. Best pet health insurance company out there! The entire process so submit a claim couldn't be easier, right from your phone.

Getting help with unexpected expenses is great!

My dog recently had to have surgery to remove a foreign body from her stomach - a green stuffed dinosaur. Knowing that my expenses for her emergency care and surgery would be covered by Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was a huge relief. It allowed me to focus on what was best for my dog, instead of what I could afford. I also appreciate the ease with which we can submit claims, and the speed with which claims are processed. Thanks, Healthy Paws, for being there when we needed you!

2 Torn ACLs and $9000 Later

My 7 year old beagle Riley tore the ACL in both knees on the same day. Not knowing what had happened I rushed him to the emergency room where they took x-rays and found nothing. Next stop at the vet who then referred my to an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed the ALC tears. Surgery was scheduled for the next day. I uploaded the receipt and medical records from the emergency room on a Sunday and I had confirmation of of processing on Monday and my reimbursement check by Friday. I chose to get the 90/10 plan. And after this accident I'm sure glad I did. After all was said and done, the cost was over $9000 and all I had to pay was the 3 different doctor visits which totaled $357 and my 10% of treatment, tests and medications. If I didn't have insurance, I don';t know how I would have been able to pay for this surgery and treatment. I've had to use my insurance 3 times in the 5 years I've had Riley. And every time they have been quick to reimburse and they follow up to see how your pet is doing/recovering.
