Thank you Healthy Paws 🐾

My dog was very sick and her treatment started with being admitted through the ER in the middle of the night. While I did not know what was ahead of us, I was positive that I wanted the vet to do everything they could to save her life. What I also did not know, is that she was far sicker than I was aware. I was surely worried about my dogs well being and the medical costs associated with her treatment. Healthy Paws was right there at the plate to assist empathetically with reimbursement of my dogs medical costs. Admittedly, I was not prepared for this veterinary expense, I honestly have no idea what I would have done without Healthy Paws caring attitude and expedient response. I could not be more thankful for all you’ve done for us. Thank you for checking on my dog. She’s doing much better and continues to improve. Thank you again Healthy Paws!🐾

Check out the Better Business Bureau reviews before making a decision. Quite different.

healthy paws will price you out of the market as your pet gets older. They will take your premiums when the likelihood of needing to file a claim is less and when your dog ages they will raise premiums astronomically until most people have to drop it. It's really strange how healthypaws has all these great reviews on this site but on the Better Business Bureau site they are a 2.75/5 with a lot of one star reviews!

Warning to customers..

Warning to customers.. do not submit cremation/end of life receipt until you have a chance to submit all other receipts. They will cancel your policy immediately and you will not have access to your account. Thankfully, I had pet insurance for Zeppelin. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at 5 yrs old. This led to several surgeries and chemo. I was happy with Healthy Paws until they canceled my account before I had a chance to submit all of my receipts. After Zeppelin's last surgery, which was front leg amputation, he lost the use of his back leg. This led to him only having the use in 2 legs. There was nothing left to do, I had to say goodbye to the love of my life. I had a mobile vet come to my house to send him to Heaven peacefully. Within a very short amount of time (same day) that I submitted the receipt for his cremation, they immediately canceled my account. I couldn't access it to see what claims had been submitted. I was satisfied with them until they did this at the end. I wanted to leave my review so that others will know what to expect.

Peace of Mind

We had a scary emergency with our 2 year old Pug a few weeks ago. Thanks to our Healthy Paws insurance - we were able to focus on providing the the best care possible to ensure our pups good health instead of stressing out about the costs associated with it all. We submitted a fairly hefty claim after our appointment and received re-imbursement within a week!
