Thank You, Healthy Paws

You not only care about my pet, they reduced my stress by making financing major procedures quick and easy. My dogs knee surgery was very stressful, but was much easier with Healthy Paws covering the primary costs. They always evaluate claims within 2 business days and send a check immediately. Then they even send a note to check on my pet's recovery! Thanks!

You won't find better insurance!

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws Insurance. We never expected to need it, but when our 4-month old puppy golden retriever suffered a fractured leg and needed expensive surgery, HP rescued us from a very expensive bill. No hassles, no questions, no hesitation, just unequivocal support and first class service with a smile. On the few occasions we've called and spoken to a representative, they have been knowledgable, patient, courteous and compassionate. They even wrote to see how our puppy was healing just a week after her surgery. The website is user friendly and straight forward. Healthy Paws has my full endorsement on every level and I'll be recommending them to every pet owner I know.

Great insurance

My 5 month old puppy got pnuemonia and was hosiptialized for 3 days and has needed weeks of antibiotics and multiple follow up x rays. Healthy Paws processed my claim quickly and easily so I could go back to taking care of my girl. Some of my family said that insuring a brand new puppy was a bit overboard but without healthy paws I'd be out thousands of dollars and counting.

Absolutely amazing coverage

After adopting a 5 year old Pitt/Lab mix from a shelter 2 years ago, and I enrolled him in Healthy Paws right away. I can honestly say, it was the best decision I ever made. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Healthy Paws. In the time I have had my dog, he has torn both of his ACL's and had multiple other small injuries/illnesses. Every single time, Healthy Paws has come through without question. I simply submit the vet bill and an updated copy of his vet records, and I know within a few days how much money I am getting reimbursed (and it's always exactly what it should be based on my policy). I was also allowed to select the ACL repair procedure that I felt benefited my dog the most (and it was more expensive) and it was, again, covered without question. I have recommended this company to every pet parent and friend that I have. I will be sticking with this company for the rest of my dog's life, and for all future pets I adopt. It is fairly inexpensive, and I receive approvals and reimbursement checks super quickly (usually within a week). Every time I call customer service, I get a super-friendly, very-knowledgeable representative on the phone quickly. I could go on forever about how amazing this company is.

Best coverage & so easy to work with.

My barely 2 yr old boxer recently contracted an infection in his spine called diskospondilitis. It causes incredible pain, lameness and, in our case, he stopped eating and became emaciated. It took almost 2 months to reach the final diagnosis. To do so we had multiple trips to our primary care, 3 trips the ER, an 8 day stay (out of state) at the Tufts Vet. Hospital, numerous tests, x-rays, medications, an MRI and ultimately a feeding tube. All of this mounted up to an alarming 5-digit figure. It was a nightmare to see our dog suffering like this and traveling back and forth to Massachusetts was very stressful. Thankfully, I had Healthy Paws which relieved the financial stress that surely would have ensued. I had opted for the 90% coverage plan and am so thankful that I did. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Healthy Paws for the ease of on-line claim filing and the quick turn around for reimbursements. It allowed me to stay on top of all of all of the bills. I am truly grateful that I chose Healthy Paws and cannot recommend this company enough. It made my life so much easier during an extremely difficult time.
