Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have always insured my pets, but when I discovered Healthy Paws, I hit the jackpot. Many companies insure what they want to, at their price. At Healthy Paws you pick the deductible and coverage amounts. Claims are addressed within a day. No silly forms to fill out, and my reimbursement was received within a week. Not to mention follow up emails to check on your sick or injured pet! This company truly cares about your pets, and their customer service is amazing. I highly recommend them over any other pet insurance ( and I have had experience with a few others) with an A+ rating!

My little 4-month-old Golden Retriever, Daisy broke her knee. It's called Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion and can be caused by jumping. She's had surgery to repair it and will be as good as new. I did not expect to have a claim so soon and almost hesitated getting insurance thinking "what could go wrong". I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before deciding on Healthy Paws and am so glad I went ahead and got Daisy insured. It was easy to file a claim and I already got my check. In my experience Healthy Paws has a very simple online process for submitting claims, a fast turnaround for reimbursements and their customer service has been helpful/caring at ever turn! I recently adopted a nine year old Maltese rescue. Even though Rosie was healthy, I thought it was important to insure her as soon as possible. I chose Healthy Paws for a variety of reasons and am really glad that I did. My first interaction with the staff at Healthy Paws was positive and I was pleased with my choice of insurers. Very unexpectedly, Rosie became quite ill and after hospitalization and an endoscopic biopsy was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. She has responded well to treatment but the whole incident has been very, very expensive. Being new to Healthy Paws, I didn't know what to expect when I submitted her claims. To my surprise, the transactions were effortless and my claims were handled very quickly. Rosie had a huge vet bill and getting her insurance payment so promptly really helped. I would recommend this company -- especially since they will insure older dogs.

My dog Cali whom is a Shepherd/Chow mix suffered a bad case of pyometra and then went septic and nearly died. Her medical expense was near $10,000.00 & with out the help of Healthy Paws Pet insurance cali would not be alive today. She was able to get the best Medical care money could buy to save her life. Cali was indeed our Christmas Miracle without the great work from the Vets and Healthy Paws my Cali would not be alive today. Thank you healthy paws for saving baby girls life..Just wanted to say one last thing all the presents and money in the world mean nothing to me without my baby girl in my life .
