2 Torn ACLs and $9000 Later

My 7 year old beagle Riley tore the ACL in both knees on the same day. Not knowing what had happened I rushed him to the emergency room where they took x-rays and found nothing. Next stop at the vet who then referred my to an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed the ALC tears. Surgery was scheduled for the next day. I uploaded the receipt and medical records from the emergency room on a Sunday and I had confirmation of of processing on Monday and my reimbursement check by Friday. I chose to get the 90/10 plan. And after this accident I'm sure glad I did. After all was said and done, the cost was over $9000 and all I had to pay was the 3 different doctor visits which totaled $357 and my 10% of treatment, tests and medications. If I didn't have insurance, I don';t know how I would have been able to pay for this surgery and treatment. I've had to use my insurance 3 times in the 5 years I've had Riley. And every time they have been quick to reimburse and they follow up to see how your pet is doing/recovering.

The best thing since sliced bread!

I can't say how grateful we are for HealthyPaws Pet Insurance! They now paid for our dog's second knee surgery and the process of filing a claim couldn't be easier. Just take a photo of the invoice and upload it through the app or the Website. If one has a question, there are real people available to talk to as well. I've been telling all my dog-friends about them.

Best company hands down!

Healthy Paws helped me pay for my dogs IVDD surgery!! $7,000 and they reimbursed 90%! Could not ask for more... But I will hahaha when my pup goes into physical rehabilitation and they will cover what he needs for that as well. They helped to save my dogs life ❤️

Above and beyond the normal process!!

Our Coco Bella came home from the groomers about 3 months ago and a few days later she started limping every time she would get up after resting awhile. A trip to the vet determined that she had torn her cranial cruciate ligament which is located inside the (knee)joint and is responsible for maintaining a stable joint. They did a major surgical procedure called a TPLO.It was so great having Healthy Paws on our side. The best decision I every made was getting her covered by Health Paws Pet Insurance. The went beyond the normal claim process to help us pay for all of Coco's cost with out having to deduct money from our saving. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance personal totally understands their clients concerns and needs. Thank you again for your helpfulness with our Coco's expenses.

Shiny New Tooth = Happy Dog

Our husky chipped a major tooth accidentally and it caused him a lot of pain to eat on the right side of his mouth. When our vet dentist told us the cost to get a root canal and crown, we were shocked! Luckily, we had Healthy Paws and they walked us through the entire process step by step. It was our first claim, so we were nervous that there would be some issues along the way. However, Healthy Paws not only was extremely responsive and professional, they also reimbursed us within a couple days! We are extremely happy with our choice of insurer and have been recommending Healthy Paws to all our friends and family. Our vet dentist was so impressed by the insurer that he's been recommending Healthy Paws to his own clientele, too!
