No one is better!

I was looking for a link on your site called "sing our praises" because I cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! My two dogs have been with you for years (collectively about 9 years) and I cannot think of one negative comment I could make. I have referred you so many times I cannot count. I've also explained to many pet owners the differences between you and others, such as "actual" and "usual and customary" payments. You would be very surprised how many people don't understand the difference. Also how many other companies have an annual and/or lifetime cap. My Charlie "almost" needed ACL surgery but my wonderful surgeon suggested to try PT first. After almost 30 sessions, the latter with added laser treatments, he's walking great! I'm still concerned about him and watching him very carefully, but he seems to be doing fine. Not ONCE was a bill questioned or turned down by you! In fact, with both my dogs, you have never questioned or turned down any treatments, medications, nothing! I hate to admit it, but my two dogs have better health care insurance than I do!!! The best part is that you are no more expensive than any other insurer for comparable coverage!

HealthyPaws

Excellent! Covered 90% of the cost for our dog's knee surgery and even cover physical therapy. We were glad to have the insurance when we needed it. HealthyPaws made the claim submission easy and streamlined online and mailed us a check in 2 weeks.

Best dog insurance in marketplace

My Lab had TPLO surgery on right knee. The claim was submitted to Healthy Paws directly by the Vet. I received an email from Healthy Paws within a few days that the claim was processed and paid. The check came within a week! The reimbursement was exactly what our insurance policy stipulated. My dog had surgery a year earlier (TPLO on left) and it was exactly the same wonderful experience. Healthy Paws has better benefits and processing than human insurance! Thank you Healthy Paws!

SO glad I have my Healthy Paws policy!

Healthy Paws kept my mind at ease while dealing with my dog's critical and unexpected health issues. It was distressing enough when I discovered my five year old lab had two bum knees and would need two expensive surgeries as well as months of recovery and rehab to get her back to her old self, but during pre-op when she was discovered to have a critical auto-immune disease I was in tears at the very real possibility of losing her. My Healthy Paws insurance policy allowed me to focus on providing the best care for my fur baby instead of having to make difficult and heart-wrenching decisions based on finances. Thanks to Healthy Paws and a team of amazing veterinarians and their staff, my dog is alive and on her way to good health again today. If that's not reason enough to convince you to get a Healthy Paws policy, here are my observations in my extensive claims submittals over the last several months: - Their rates are competitive. In getting quotes from some of the best rated pet insurance companies, I found the best bang for your buck in terms of coverage vs premium rates from Healthy Paws. - No pre-approvals are needed for claims. Initially this worried me to get no paperwork in advance that explicitly said how much would be covered, but the claims adjusters are familiar enough with common injuries and diseases to explain what will be covered if you're willing to make a phone call. And, anyhow, in times of emergency, the last thing you want is a to need a pre-approval. - A SURPRISING number of my dog's expenses were covered, including mobility harnesses and slings needed to carry her post-surgery and massages to help ease her pain, most of which required only invoices and no medical notes or disputes from her veterinarian. And if that's still not enough to convince you, here are some numbers: - I currently pay <$40/monthly in premiums for a $250 deductible plan with 80% coverage - This year so far (with only one surgery down), I've paid ~$3200 out of pocket while Healthy Paws paid ~$9500. Granted, with all of her ongoing issues, I fully expect these rates to increase, but that's just how insurance works and for now have no regrets about my Healthy Paws policy except that I didn't opt for higher coverage.

10 Stars!

10 stars all the way! My dog has had a couple of emergencies that have been very expensive. When looking for pet insurance... what are we looking for? A company who has an easy way to submit claims and who handles them efficiently A company who has great customer service, with live empathetic people on the other end of the line A company who isn't out to screw you over and issues you a check easily after an ordeal A company who doesn't raise your premiums astronomically every year Bonus- a company who follows up with you to see how your little fury beast is doing after a health crisis. HEALTHY PAWS is for you!! I am not someone paid to do this- I am doing this because my dog has had a couple of life threatening emergencies and Healthy Paws was there every step of the way-checks issued within a week of claim processing, with no scrutiny and nice follow ups to see how he's doing. What you see is what you get-they are an honest company who cares about you and your pets! It's like the Nordstrom of Pet Insurance but with reasonable premiums. I do suggest getting coverage with a low deductible- in the end, I think it's worth it. Sign up! Do it!
