Healthy Paws gives me peace of mind

I signed on with Healthy Paws back in 2011 when my Lab was around 3 years years old, never knowing that 2 1/2 years later when he got bone cancer that we would be spending over $30,000 in treatments over 13 months. We were able to give him the best care with top notch specialists without having to worry about cost. We paid our bill, submitted our invoice by either email or the Healthy Paws app and we received our check within a week. Sadly he lost his battle in January 2015. Six months later I adopted a Lab/Border Collie mix at 8 weeks old and insured him the next day. He is now a year and a half old. 5 weeks ago he developed a horrible cough and was vomiting. Two vet visits and 2 specialist visits in the span of 2 weeks running tests, X-rays, endoscopy, multiple medications and over $3,600, they covered 90% of his bills and I received the checks in less than a week. I hear so many stories of people that have had to put their animals down because they were unable to pay for surgery or treatment. I will never go without insurance for my pets. I am so grateful to this company not only for their great insurance but for the care and compassion that they show us and our pets. To date I have 3 cats and a dog and they are all insured with Healthy Paws. Believe me when I say that you cannot go wrong with them, they really are the best out there.

Couldn't be happier!

Our 3 1/2 year old German shepherd Jaxx tore the CCL in his knee. Jaxx's surgery went well and before the stitches were even removed Healthy Paws let me know they'd be sending me a check for 90 % of the bill! What a relief! Because it was very expensive! There were no extra phone calls to our vet or surgeon or even us. They just paid it! And I got a very heartfelt email checking to see that Jaxx was doing better. I breathe easier knowing that we have Healthy Paws in our corner. I'm so glad I chose them. Their rates are reasonable(much better than most!) and their service is outstanding. I also love the app and how easy it is to file a claim. Teresa

#1 Pet Insurance

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. They are the best insurance out there for your pets. HP accepted our dog Cassie at the age 8 with the cheapest premium I could find. They covered tens of thousands of dollars of medical expenses for Cassie as her health declined, including 3 surgeries, chemotherapy and acupuncture for her recovery. In addition, reimbursement checks were received without hassle, ever, within a week of submitting our receipts. Unfortunately, our dear Cassie passed a few weeks ago and in the mail we received a card from Healthy Paws with hand written messages from many of their staff members. If you would like the security of knowing that finances will not force you to make tough decisions regarding your pet's health, Healthy Paws is the only way to go..

Handled the unexpected crisis.

I have had this insurance for almost 3 years and has not used until this year at the beginning of August. Since thencinas I have had to make 8 claims due to an unexpected issue. My baby recently had surgery and the bill was almost 4000. Healthy Paws sent me an email asking how she was doing and this is what I sent back "Tim Weiss and Healthy Paws,Thank you for asking about my baby Eeyore. she is slow recovering and hopefully will be all healed up soon. We're hoping the surgery solves all of the issues she has been having over the last several months so she can return back to my happy hyper pug!! Thank you for checking on her and processing her claims so quickly. I don't know how we would have survived without her insurance. This crisis was completely unexpected. Hopefully the many years to come are back to being uneventful and just full of happy barks and tail wagging. Thank you again and have a great day Elizabeth and Eeyore".
