Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog had a major surgery for a torn ligament in her knee. This is a complicated surgery with a very long recovery. It is incredibly expensive as well. It really helped to have the very fast claim review, processing, and mailing of the check for an already overworked credit card and overwhelmed pet parents! Thank you so much! We are pleased with Healthy Paws! As the former president of a 501(c)(3) rescue organization, I can also say that Healthy Paws has a very compassionate mission to help rescues and rescued animals with grants from their foundation. With an excellent experience with both sides of Healthy Paws (insurance and the foundation), I would certainly recommend them highly!

I couldn't be happier with Health Paws. Their coverage is fair... truly taking risk out of pet ownership. They are clear about their coverage and adjudicate claims based on that coverage in a fast, straight-forward manner. I have had the great fortune of having an amazing dog. I have also had the great mis-fortune in my dog having chronic allergies and most recently being hit by a car. Healthy Paws has been there for me all the way. I'm sure I'm a money loser for them, but I've never felt that way. I am promoting them as 5 stars all the way with the hope that this attracts some new sales for some healthy and accident-free pets to offset me and others who have needed to make exceptional claims. You'll be happy knowing that you and your pet are protected, and Healthy Paws will make some money so that they can continue to provide protection to you and me if we ever need it.

I've been a Healthy Paws customer for a while now, but over the holidays submitted my first claim -- In general, their customer support has always been great, but in the time of crisis with one of my animals, Healthy Paws made the process easier than the vet's office did. I was able to submit my claim via the mobile app without any trouble, and all my home vet had to do was send a quick email. After the claim was submitted, the process was so incredibly easy - customer service was on top of everything, notified me when documents were received, and when they were beginning to process the claim. The turn around on everything was just as smooth, and they got me a itemized sheet of my coverages and a reimbursement check promptly. I'm so glad I have Healthy Paws as my pet insurance; it's helped a lot in an otherwise unpleasant situation.

I got Healthy Paws insurance a few months after adopting my dog, Francis. I reviewed numerous pet insurance companies and decided HP was the best and most trustworthy. I'm so glad I did because about a year after adopting Francis, he was diagnosed with mast cell cancer. Without insurance, I simply would not be able to pay for his treatment. HP has provided great customer service and they have reimbursed his treatment costs within the limits of their policy. I am really thankful for Healthy Paws!

Love the easy to use app, you just upload a pic of your invoice to make a claim. They processed all my claims very quickly, and didn't give me any kind of hard time or try not to cover things. Everything they said would be covered was covered, no questions asked. So glad I got the 90% coverage. Paid for itself for sure. Took all the stress out of a stressful situation. Excellent insurance!! Highly recommend.
