Never have a dog without Healthy Paws Insurance

Healthy paws is the first and now the only insurance company I will ever use for my animals. I have turned many people and friends on to this absolutely essential part of responsible pet ownership. I started with them three years ago with my first frenchie Ollie. After only one month Ollie took a tumble down a few steps in the house and he broke his elbow. Surgery with a specialist was over 4K. I processed the claim and had my check within 10 days. This company is amazing! Sure you have to have your ducks in a row. Have your dog checked by a vet and have the medical records sent but after that it's a breeze to submit claims. I use the app on my iPhone it's as easy as pressing the submit a claim button, take a photo of the bill and click submit. That's it! I also have my frenchie Batman covered and about 3 weeks ago he was showing signs of pain. I took him to three different vets including two hospital stays two seperate weekends. He had a reaction to the steroid and he needed an oxygen tank due to his breathing problems. 7k in vet bills all covered at 80%. I have never had a claim denied. Plus they send follow up emails to check on your pet. They truly care. I'm a client for life. I just bought a new golden puppy and just added her to the policy as well. We are life long partners and I will never own another dog without coverage with Healthy Paws. They are truly a god sent and I'm nothing but grateful!

Healthy Paws is the best!

I work for a large animal hospital and I see many clients using various different insurances. I chose Healthy Paws because after seeing what clients sometimes go through with the other companies I have never heard a complaint about Healthy Paws. I can't say enough good things about this company. They have been wonderful to deal with. They process claims quickly and unlike some other companies they actually seem to care about the pets!

Thank Goodness

I'm a first time pet-owner and recently adopted two healthy kittens. At 5 months of age one of them began to lose his balance, sometimes crashing to the ground and banging his head in a potentially dangerous way, and the vet discovered a polyp in his inner ear that would require surgery in a distant town. I was shocked, largely because my kitten had seemed healthy, and could hardly have been more worried about my furry baby. Then came the even bigger shock of the $4,000 bill for the surgery, to be paid upfront. Not only was I feeling sick with worry, I was also losing 3 days of work and couldn't help feeling upset and overwhelmed by the expense. I had purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance when I first brought my kittens home, but wasn't sure that I would be able to count on them in my hour of need. It was with enormous relief and gratitude that I learned that they were covering 90% of the cost of the surgery (according to my particular plan) and that a check would be coming in the mail right away. The animal hospital simply faxed my invoice to them, and they responded the very next day to let me know my claim was being processed, and possibly even just a few hours later to let me know how much they would reimburse me. It's expensive to be a responsible pet parent, and I've felt the pinch of paying for spaying/neutering, immunizations, and high quality food, but I'd never expected my seemingly healthy kitten to get so sick. I can not recommend Healthy Paws highly enough.

Why you need Healthy Paws

chose Healthy Paws for my two dogs, a French Bulldog and a Pug, because of their high ratings. When I first chose to have them insured, I did not know much about health insurance. I wan't entirely certain that my dogs would require insurance, however when my baby, the Frenchie began having symptoms of losing weight, regurgitating, and vomiting, I did not second guess whether or not I could afford it. She required a lot of diagnostic testing and medication for her condition and I was able to afford to see a specialist. In the coming weeks, she also began to present symptoms of IVDD. I was devastated however I was able to afford an MRI which ranges in cost from $2,000 - $2,900 and once again, the decision to push forward with further testing with a neurologist was without question. I chose the plan that covered 90 % reimbursement, which was the best choice for me. She is only a 1 and a 1/2 and although she has had a few hiccups in her health I can't even begin to thank Healthy Paws to able to afford the specialists and medications required for her condition. There is such freedom in knowing that your babies health is insured. I received my check in 3 days and without Healthy Paws I don't need to compromi
