ER Neck Surgery for my Boston
I've had my Boston since he was 10 weeks old and shortly obtained Healthy Paws after getting him. Oliver turned 5 years in October 2016 and just a couple weeks later showed concerning and painful behavior. I took him to his regular vet for diagnosis, an emergency vet the next day and then another emergency vet the third day on a Saturday for an emergency MRI that required immediate neck surgery for ruptured discs in his neck. Almost $7,000 for the 3 days of treatment. Although most of us would do anything for our pals, knowing I had HP allowed me without hesitation to tell the docs to do whatever they needed to do to treat him. Some people wouldn't be able to. This was not my first claim, and each time the staff is very expedient in their claim processing and per my contract I am reimbursed exactly what is expected. The staff also follow up to see how recovery is going. Ollie is now doing amazing and back to his happy Boston self.
My advice, get a quote and do a little math. It's then really an easy and intelligent decision.
