Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

In the last 3 months I have had over $10,000.00 in Vet billsHealthy Paws has been there the whole way.It is amazing how fast they process and pay claims. It has never taken more than 1 week to get paid. I will always insure my pets with Healthy Paws, It would be silly not to. I can say with complete confidence that there is no one better. And yes I have told all of my friends with pets about Healthy Paws.

What an AMAZING experience with this company!!! After my last two dogs had major health issues without insurance coverage, decided that I would purchase health insurance for my next pup. I researched and decided to go with Healthy Paws as a result of the scores of great reviews that I read about them...just like the one that I'm now leaving! My two-year-old pup came down with a severe bloody gastritis which required three days in hospital, IV fluids, meds, followup visit, and on and on to the tune of over $2,000. Once I submitted my bills (easily, I might add, by taking picture of them with my IPhone and submitting them thru their app), I promptly received reimbursement checks. I had chosen the $250 annual deductible and 90% coverage and true to their policy, that's what I got. The only thing they didn't cover was the vet's initial charge for visit. There are no cons of any kind with this company in my experience. I am telling all my friends and the different vets that I know about them.

I was on the fence but ended up purchasing insurance for our new rescue dog. While I hoped we wouldn't need it....it seemed like a smart idea and after a lot of research we chose Healthy Paws. They have been amazing. Our poor pup is currently being treated for heartworm and Healthy Paws has been wonderful. They process claims quickly, it's very easy to submit documents and they have excellent customer service. When you call - you actually can speak to a real person on the phone. Thank you Healthy Paws - you're helping make our sad situation a little easier to handle.

Healthy Paws has been amazing!!! If it wasn't for them I don't know what I would have done, I hate to think about what I would have had to do because there is NO way I'd be able to afford the outrageous vet/hospital/specialist/prescription bills I've had for my Clifford. Getting this insurance when I adopted him was the best thing I ever did, I did it knowing that Cavaliers are known to get heart problems. Little did I know that at the young age of 3, only 10 months after I got him that he would get a very serious heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy. He's also recently had a bad pancreatitis attack that landed him over a week stay in the emergency ICU. Submitting claims and having them paid has been so easy, no hassles and fast claim payments issued to me. I've also used them for my other Cavalier Sophie that I have coverage on as well for less serious illnesses and same thing, super easy claim process and fast payment. If you're considering health insurance for your pet(s) I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws! My dog had a major surgery for a torn ligament in her knee. This is a complicated surgery with a very long recovery. It is incredibly expensive as well. It really helped to have the very fast claim review, processing, and mailing of the check for an already overworked credit card and overwhelmed pet parents! Thank you so much! We are pleased with Healthy Paws! As the former president of a 501(c)(3) rescue organization, I can also say that Healthy Paws has a very compassionate mission to help rescues and rescued animals with grants from their foundation. With an excellent experience with both sides of Healthy Paws (insurance and the foundation), I would certainly recommend them highly!
