Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

This is the first time in my life I have ever had to deal with pet surgery and it is very stressful situation. I am so grateful for our Healthy Paws Pet insurance policy that I started the adoption - this is my daughter's cat and they adore each other - so having this insurance meant I didn't have to make a really ugly decision between putting him down or credit card debt. They have been supportive, prompt with claims processing - no grief or we need more information. I highly recommend them if you are looking for the best policy for your pets.

I've had healthy paws since I got my 4 year old Maltipoo, Kirby. It's been such a relief to have through his life for small incidents here and there that add up quickly. Over the holidays he ingested something and was hospitalized for 3 days and had to have a procedure to have it removed. The following week he ruptured a disc and had to have emergency back surgery. He spent another 5 days in the hospital following the surgery. Needless to say, the bills were huge. I submitted the claims to healthy paws right away. They were processed within 2 days & the checks came the following week. Healthy Paws is reliable, fast & easy...all of the employees have been kind and helpful. I never would have guessed my young dog would have had so many expensive health issues. I absolutely recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner!

Healthy Paws is the best! My dog had an unexpected digestion problem that caused bloody puddles on the floor. I immediately took her to the vet. She had to spend the night at the pet hospital.I submitted a claim for my dog via their website and it was immediately processed. I was reimbursed 90% of the vet and pet hospital fees within 10 days. The reimbursement amount depends on what you select. I also received an email from Tim Weiss to see how my dog was doing. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for your pet's needs. My husband is glad I talked him into getting the insurance.

When we got our dog Frank from a well established breeder, we never dreamt that we would be faced with thousands of dollars in medical expenses in the first six months of welcoming him into our family. Frank has been such a great addition and we love him very much but unfortunately, he has a fairly bad immune system and we have made countless trips to the vet. Our vet recommended pet insurance at our first visit with Frank and to be honest, I never thought we would have to use it. I could not have been more wrong. Frank has had pretty much every diagnostic test you can imagine. He's been on several antibiotics and for a while it felt like we were spending more time at the vets office than not. Seeing him in pain and sick is stressful enough but having to shoulder the financial burden of a sick pet makes it even worse. Working with Healthy Paws through all of our claims has been so easy. Filing claims is all done online and they are generally processed within a few days. The only time it took longer than that was with our first claim because Frank's medical history needed to be retrieved from the vet. We have received all of our reimbursement checks incredibly fast, as well. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Healthy Paws.
