Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

As a editor-in-chief of the American Analysis of News and Media, Inc. (at usagovpolicy.com) I cover, among many issues, health care (for humans!) None of the various insurance plans, government or private,that I have reviewed provides service as honest or friendly as Healthy Paws. The rates are affordable, the claims process is easy to use, and reimbursement is prompt. I enthusiastically recommend the service to pet owners.

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my 5 year old Golden Retriever since she was about 5 months old. We have had a few small medical things come up, which Healthy Paws always processed quickly, but the much bigger, surgical problem came up this month. The ultrasound and tests that needed to be done prior to surgery were all covered, and the surgery and hospitalization was expensive, and (after my deductible, of course) it was all covered by Healthy Paws. In fact, I received the reimbursement check from Healthy Paws within one week of my dog's surgery. It is hard to imagine it getting better than that - I'm very glad that I had Healthy Paws Insurance as we went through this surgery.

Healthy Paws!! If health insurance companies for humans were as efficient as Healthy Paws we wouldn't have any worries in life..... A few months ago we purchased a beautiful pure breed English bulldog puppy. Knowing the traditional issues that English bulldogs bring with them we decided it would be prudent to purchase an insurance plan for him. Sure enough, a few weeks ago he developed aspiration pneumonia (very common in this breed) and had to be hospitalized for 36 hours. He recovered well, but an expensive medical bill was waiting for me when we checked him out of the hospital. This is where Healthy Paws came in. Their health app is absolutely amazing...I just clicked on the app, snapped a picture of the hospital invoice and hit the submit button. EXACTLY one week later I had my reimbursement check from them - I was absolutely astonished. Not only that, I also received a personal email from Mr. Tim Weiss (Claws & Paws Protector) asking me about Rocco's progress! I absolutely LOVE this insurance company and you will too....you won't regret it. Regards, Alex

I have had Healthy Paws covering my two shiba inus for the past six years and have never had an issue with them covering a claim. Submitting a claim is straightforward and it is usually processed within a week. Recently my dog Jotly had to have a root canal done on a back "anchor" tooth. All I had to submit was the invoice and the vet sent them the examination notes directly. The claim was settled the day they received all the information. I am so happy I chose Healthy Paws to help me care for my pets. The people who contact me genuinely seem to care about the wellbeing of my two dogs.

Penny is my first dog ever, and I knew I wanted to purchase insurance but I was very confused about which to choose. From incredibly caring, kind, and responsive customer service representatives to a simple, clear, and straightforward claims submission/reimbursement process, I've never been less than 110% satisfied. I submit all of my claims online and the turnaround is always quick, and I am reimbursed for every cent that I had expected and hoped for - no surprises because I didn't read almost illegible fine print somewhere. They're truly outstanding - I got everything I could've hoped for and so much more with this insurance company. You never know what unfortunate circumstances you might encounter down the line when you first become a pet parent, and Healthy Paws gives me the ability to never have to make a decision on my little one's health based on finances alone.
