The best pet insurance company I've had

Healthy Paws is easy, fast, and they have the best plans that I have seen. Dealing with a sick or injured pet is hard enough to handle, but Healthy Paws makes the financial aspect easier and less stressful. Knowing that your pet has a great health plan in case anything ever happens to them puts my mind at ease. Sending claims is super easy, I love that I can just take a quick picture and send it in less than 30 seconds. They get back to you very quickly too. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who has pets, they are amazing!

THE BEST PET INSURANCE EVER!!!!!!

When we rescued our love-pug Lucy, we NEVER could have guessed what we had in store. Within the first 3 months, we had 4 different VERY expensive trips to the vet. She had consumed gum and chocolate. At an expense of more than $1000.00 a piece, it was financially very stressful. We decided to look into pet insurance and found Healthy Paws!!!! It feels like We have been rescued!!!! Since joining, Lucy has had various other maladies including a recent bout that led to a long stay in the hospital. Because of Healthy Paws we were able to save her life. We continue to be AMAZED by the customer service, quick reimbursement checks, and reasonable price. Because of Healthy Paws, Lucy continues to be a joy to our family! Thank you so much!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
