Words cannot describe the relief I had that I after much online research- decided to purchase insurance coverage for our boxer Franklin. When I purchased his insurance- Franklin was only 7 months old and was only planning on worse come scenarios in case he ever contracted any of the medical complications boxers are prone for never thinking after a $3300 stomach/intestinal surgery to remove a foreign obstruction - was beyond elated to find out the reviews I had read were all true regarding fast reimbursement for nearly 2/3 of his medical fees- let alone, such genuine, kind customer service from Healthy Paws while dealing with this major trauma. I have been spreading the word to anyone as many people possible as this has been such a tremendous financial relief knowing our Franklin has insurance coverage for medical emergencies. - Scott from Golden, Colorado

My experience with Healthy Paws pet insurance has been nothing short of wonderful! I have a cat that has had one eye removed because of cancer and is now in the process of dealing with heart disease and through this difficult period Healthy Paws has made this a very easy experience in dealing with the insurance end of the situation. I purchased insurance for my pure-bred French Bulldog, Rudi right after I got him and while he was 8 weeks old. I am 100% certain that I had them quote me for a PURE BRED FRENCH BULLDOG. Recently, I had to file a claim for Rudi because he got stung by a bee and had an anaphylactic shock, so we had to go to the ER at 10PM to get him a steroid shot. Anyways, I tried to file a claim with Healthy Paws and although they resolved it rather quickly, at the same time they notified me of the completion of my claim they also let me know that my monthly premium would go up by almost 60$ because apparently they didn't know he was a pure bred Frenchie.... I know for a fact that I did not let them quote me on a mix breed dog and I think it is unheard of that now, after I filed my first claim, they are bumping up my monthly premium. I will be shopping for a different insurance now.
