Best Pet Insurance Ever
About 3 months ago our yellow lab Max started limping. We kept watching it hoping that it what ever was causing the limp would eventually go away. It didn't. We took him into our Vet and sure enough he had tore his cruciate ligament in his back left leg and would need surgery. Without the surgery he would most likely develop arthritis and would continue to be more painful. Of course we want to do what ever we have to take care of our baby. We told our Vet that we wanted to do the surgery and were given an estimate of 5,000.00. There was no way we would be able to afford that. We had insured him through Healthy Paws Pet Insurance last year.
I called them and told them what was going on and thank heaven it was covered. We thought that we would have to come up with the whole amount and then be reimbursed. Which was still going to be really hard. Then the rep at Healthy Paws told me that they can do a direct pay to the Vet we just had to send them the estimate in enough time before the surgery to get everything approved. What we thought was going to cost us 5,000.00 ended up costing 500.00. We cannot be more greatful to Healthy Paws. Max is now well on his way to recovery and getting back to his normal playful self. I don't know what we would have done without them.
