Best Pet Insurance Ever

About 3 months ago our yellow lab Max started limping. We kept watching it hoping that it what ever was causing the limp would eventually go away. It didn't. We took him into our Vet and sure enough he had tore his cruciate ligament in his back left leg and would need surgery. Without the surgery he would most likely develop arthritis and would continue to be more painful. Of course we want to do what ever we have to take care of our baby. We told our Vet that we wanted to do the surgery and were given an estimate of 5,000.00. There was no way we would be able to afford that. We had insured him through Healthy Paws Pet Insurance last year. I called them and told them what was going on and thank heaven it was covered. We thought that we would have to come up with the whole amount and then be reimbursed. Which was still going to be really hard. Then the rep at Healthy Paws told me that they can do a direct pay to the Vet we just had to send them the estimate in enough time before the surgery to get everything approved. What we thought was going to cost us 5,000.00 ended up costing 500.00. We cannot be more greatful to Healthy Paws. Max is now well on his way to recovery and getting back to his normal playful self. I don't know what we would have done without them.

Very very great pet insurance to have!

I recently started using Healthy Paws and shortly after getting the policy, our dog needed a major surgery. I was so happy with the process for filing a claim and the speed at which everything was taken care of. No questions asked - I just submitted the documents online and within a few days I had an email back with details and the answer that the surgery and all the follow-up appointments were covered. I had the check in the mail within another week or so. And I even got a follow-up email from them asking me how our dog was doing! Overall, super impressed by how quick and easy everything was and how great their customer service team is.

Top Notch

I cannot say enough about the compassion and empathy I received from Healthypaws during my beloved dogs recent illness. The Sunday before Easter he had been regurgitating all day by evening we took him to animal critical care where he was xrayed and it was thought he had swallowed something which was blocking the outflow duct of his stomach. He was very sick and dehydrated. We were told to have him Xrayed the next day by our vet. He was and she immediately performed surgery only to find out he had thickening of his GI tract which would not allow anything to pass through thus the regurgitating. I was devastated and so afraid I couldn't financially provide him with the care he needed. The bill from the critical care was 1200+ dollars and my vet was 2700+. Healthypaws to the rescue. They paid all but about 500.00 of that 4000.00 and very quickly. One claim was even processed the same day. I thought I was going to lose him, but with prayer and the kindness of my vet, who allowed us time to pay on balances incurred after the first, he is on the mend. He is only 6 and I was not ready to lose him. I implore anyone who has fur babies to purchase quality pet insurance for that peace of mind. The small monthly premium is well worth it. I had another pet insurance prior to Healthypaws, but I will be a customer for life.

Easy & Seamless Service

My cat Queen went through Fatty Liver Disease at only 3 years old. In order to get to that diagnoses she was at the emergency vet for almost a week, had a feeding tube inserted, two plasma transfusions, ultrasounds & x-rays and was on multiple medications. Racking up vet bills totaling almost $8,000. Healthy Paws worked with my vet directly to pay her bills upfront as the cost as so great. They even emailed me personally to check on her. Overall amazing and seamless service during a tough time. I would recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance 100%!

Healthy Paws is #1!

Healthy Paws provides an amazing service for pet owners. With 3 tiers of coverage to choose from (different coverage percentages and annual deductibles that correspond to different monthly rates), the plans are very flexible. They also cover a wide range of health issues and services - in my review, I found very little fine print about what isn't covered. Having recently used Healthy Paws for expenses related to an accident, I can say first-hand how essential it is for your pet insurance provider to offer low-stress claims processing. Their mobile app makes it ridiculously easy to submit a claim. No need to deal with paper, forms or even discuss the insurance with your vet. Simply scan a photo of your receipt through the app and hit "Submit." Within a few days, the claim is processed (status updates are available through the app), and the check is not far behind. Best of all, even though you're doing all of this through an app, you learn that there are actual human beings on the other end who genuinely care about the well-being of your pet. They check in via email, and there really is a person there - not a robot. Bravo Healthy Paws!
