Healthy Paws - Great simple and fairPet insurance

Healthy Paws have insured our pet for some two years and we are very satisfied. The cost is very reasonable and their service is excellent: it is simple without claim forms and very fair in respect of claims (90% payable after deductible etc) . Recently our Lab got very sick and had to have difficult intestinal surgery and was really dangerously ill. The cost of the surgery and 3 day stay at the Vet was not negligible even by NYC standards and Healthy paws agreed the claim without a problem. In our experience claims are authorized in a matter of a couple of days and Checks are always sent quickly and I have no hesitation in recommending them as an ideal solution to your Pets (and your) well being under the difficult and surprisingly costly health issues that can occur

I give healthy paws a 10. Excellent customer service. Fasthe, prompt claims services. My German Shepherd puppy had double elbow surgery a couple weeks ago. I've already received my claim reimbursement with no problems. Love healthy paws.

Great insurance with awesome customer support!

Healthy Paws is by far one of the best insurance companies I have ever dealt with. Super quick and and responsive! In less than a week I received a reimbursement check. Submitting a claim is super easy. I just took a picture of the receipt on my phone and was done. Healthy Paws even reached out to see how my pup was doing. Since my pups surgery things have been super hectic (he had leg surgery so he is not mobile at the moment) so it was a nice gesture. Only negative is that I wish the vet visit cost was covered.

Incredibly Reliable Pet Insurance

My 4-year old American Bulldog, Mogli, recently had to undergo major GI surgery to remove a necrotic piece of his small intestine and part of his colon, after his small intestine became tangled within his abdominal wall. I brought him into the vet after he had been vomiting and looking very uncomfortable. They were going to keep him to do an ultrasound (he has a history of eating foreign bodies and has had previous surgeries, however, this one was no fault of his own), and called me 2 hours later saying he needed emergency surgery due to some bacterial fluid leaking into his stomach. The doctors did not know what the issue was before taking him into surgery, and when they opened him up, they called me while he was on the operating table to tell me that this was going to be a major surgery and there was only about a 50% chance he would survive. They also gave me the option to put him down at that time due to the risks of the surgery. However, the doctor was confident in his ability to perform the procedure and give Mogli a fighting chance. He spent 2 days in the ICU and 6 days total in the hospital, and has been home now for about 2.5 weeks and seems to be doing well. Still has some digestive issues to deal with but is looking more like himself. Among many decisions my family and I had to make that week, one of the larger ones was financial. I can't say for sure that Mogli would still be with us if it weren't for his Healthy Paws policy, and the confidence I had in them as an insurance provider. They allowed us to get Mogli the best care during those 6 days in the hospital and made decisions much easier knowing we'd have help with the significant medical costs. And sure enough, I submitted my claim this past Monday and they processed it the same day, and sent a get well email for Mogli. At age 4, Mogli has now had 3 stomach / GI emergency surgeries and an ACL replacement in his knee (we are really not bad dog owners, honestly). Some was self inflicted by eating toys, but some were not, including this most recent and serious procedure. Healthy Paws has been incredibly accommodative, reliable and easy to work with in these tough times, and allowed us to make the decisions we feel are best for Mogli without stressing about the financial implications. He is an important part of our family, and one of the main reasons he's with us today is because of Healthy Paws. I often tell people Mogli's Health Insurance policy is the best investment I've ever made,
