Reliable & Fast Claims!

I highly, highly recommend Healthy Paws insurance. We have run into a couple health issues with our Newfoundland and have used Health Paws for the past two years. Best decision we could make. Vet bills can add up very quickly. Even the small ones. Healthy Paws has always been very clear with their coverage policy. I have never even felt a need to call for clarification because the coverage policy on the website is so accurate. It's amazing how quickly they process claims and how easy it is. All you do is take a photo of the bill and submit it through their app. It has been well worth the cost of the insurance to have the peace of mind that when something happens, Healthy Paws is there for us. I can't even imagine the financial strains we would have without Healthy Paws. I recommend it to all of our friends and dog owners!

Recommend Healthy paws!

Healthy paws is excellent. The phone app is super easy to use, the customer service is very quick and very friendly, and the claims get processed quickly. I highly recommend!

BEST PET INSURANCE COMPANY BY FAR !!!

This was by far the best decision our family ever made selecting Health Paws Pet Insurance Company. They have been a financial life-savor for us. It also enabled us to get our dog the best possible medical care available. In addition to the financial aspect, great customer service is important. We have found that the staff at Health Paws actually cares about our dog. They are the nicest, most professional and supportive people to deal with. HealthyPaws has been absolutely great!

HealthyPaws insurance has been wonderful to our furry family. My Charlie had major leg surgery (front right elbow due to dysplasia) and is currently undergoing a six week recovery. I submitted the claims paperwork for 3 separate claims the same day as his surgery and have already received 3 separate reimbursement checks from HealthyPaws. They have been wonderful regarding communication regarding my baby (a GSD) and have inquired as to his recovery. I feel like everyone I have talked with at the company and extremely caring and very interested in my pets well being. I highly recommend HealthyPaws to anyone looking for pet insurance - one of the best investments we ever made for our babies.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
