I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws

Thank you so much for asking how Layla is feeling. It has been a week since her surgery and every day I see her getting a bit better. Next Thursday she has an appointment with Dr. Schwab to check on her and get her staples out. I think after the staples come out we start a program to get her physically active again. Layla is a great companion and we love her so much and feel so fortunate that we can give her the best of care there is to offer. Healthy Paws helped to make this possible. You know we submitted Layla's paperwork to Healthy Paws on a Saturday evening at around 9 PM. We received the approval for coverage payment from Healthy Paws Sunday, the next evening at around 7 PM. Less than 24 hours! That is truly amazing to us! I appreciate your pet insurance so much. I am telling everyone how great Healthy Paws is and will continue spreading the word. Thank you again for your help and concern.

Misleading policy

When I bought coverage for my Havanese puppy I knew that Healthy Paws did not cover regular exams, vaccinations, etc. It is meant to cover catastrophic situations, yes. After almost a year of coverage I submitted a claim, and found, to my surprise, that no vet exam is covered at all. This is not stated clearly. After all, a dog who has been hit by a car or who is vomiting blood still has to be diagnosed, and thus must be seen by a vet. Not covering that part of the emergency treatment means that my deductible goes up from $100 to about $160. Now my premiums are set to go up from $38 to $45, as well. Really, pretending every vet exam is of equal relevance is a deceptive policy.

Hands Down The Best Pet Insurance Out There!!!

My Pit Bull, Aso, was found to have two torn ACL's on both back knees. It was painful for him to sit and run and it was hard to see him struggle. I was having a hard time getting credit approved for his surgery but it finally happened. Aso got Bilateral TPLO surgery on May 17, 2017. Shortly thereafter I filed a claim with Healthy Paws. As soon as they received all of the medical records they sent me four checks. One for the actual surgery at 80% coverage and they sent three more checks covering Aso's medications. I had added our newest furry family member to the insurance before I received the money. I knew in my heart that it was the best thing I could do for her. I know if anything happens and Apache needs surgery or something else, she is going to be taken care of. Healthy Paws is absolutely the BEST PET INSURANCE out there. Thank you Healthy Paws for caring about my fur babies!! I even got an email asking how Aso was doing. Awesome service!!

Maxwell Can See Again!

Thanks to Healthy Paws, my furry soulmate was able to get surgery last month that saved his vision. I didn't have to consider for one second how I would pay back the nearly $3500 I had to put on my credit card for surgery, recovery, post op visits and hundreds of dollars in medications due to his retinal detachment. I've already received reimbursement but more, a wonderful email inquiring about my beloved Maxwell's status. The fear of watching them take my baby into surgery still brings tears to my eyes but money never had to weigh into my decision on giving him the best care recommended. I love Healthy Paws and consider it one of my wisest decisions to insure my three fur babies. When the unexpected happens, the last thing you want to do is worry about having to make an impossible choice if you can't afford expensive care. I am grateful I wasn't put in that position.
